I think our experiment with our backs is not producing the results were had hoped. Forte is on the block and Marshall Faulk was saying the Cowboys would be a good place for him. I'm game as his price won't be that high.

What do you guys aay?

older, 7.5 million a year tag....not sure if I want to strap ourselves that way....and its easy for faulk to play fantasy football, he doesn't have to make cap decisions.

First question, can Matt Forte handle a position by group situation. There are talents similar to his, in a group setting already.

He would instantly become the best RB on the team the second he signed.
I would only want him as a one year rental until Ezekiel Elliott is on this team next year.

Y'all just want to give away all of our draft picks huh?

If we lose today the season is over. If we win today I still don't want the trade bc we still have Weeden at the helm.

I think we could cut him without a cap hit, since we paid him no bonus. I hesitate also, but man in December having Romo, Forte and Dez...and all of our defense back...Watch out NFL!

It might be enough to keep us at 500 in the Tony-less period.

Why would you cut a player that you gave up a draft pick to acquire?

The RBs are the least of the teams problems right now.

I would prefer their WR (Jeffery) if he was healthy enough to play.

Our backs are running well. Run blocking and play calling need improvement.

Forte is just an ok back. I don't see any way this team would pay 29 year old Forte 7.5 million per year and either make him a committee member or sit everyone else down and let Forte have the bulk of the carries.

We could have kept a younger stronger Forte named Demarco Murray for the same money and kept our draft pick.

I think it's wrong to call our RBBC an experiment. I think it's wrong to say it's not producing the results we had hoped for. I really don't give a damn what the ultimate Cowboy hater Marhall Faulk has to say.

Now concerning Forte, he is 29 and would cost about $7M I believe. Does that sound like someone we would be interested in? It's possible but I don't see it because of age and cost.
