Matt Forte on the block

Where is the C. Michael crowd saying to play him instead.
What will we do with 5 RB's. We will still get the we need a RB crowd.
I know there will be those that will say cut DMC and Randle though.

And no to Forte. Save what draft picks we have left, trade them all next year. Keep 2 draft picks.
One for a QB and one for Ezekiel Elliot at RB.
well, we will have 4 comp picks also.

I think it's wrong to call our RBBC an experiment. I think it's wrong to say it's not producing the results we had hoped for. I really don't give a damn what the ultimate Cowboy hater Marhall Faulk has to say.

Now concerning Forte, he is 29 and would cost boutique $7M I believe. Does that sound like someone we would be interested in? It's possible but I don't see it because of age and cost.

Given how well he bas played behind an interior OL this year, and that he fact we would only be on the hook for one season, and tha fact that he is one most well rounded backs in the NFL, I would be interested

Alright, but there was a reason this team didn't stay the road with Demarcus Ware, Jason Hatcher, Demarcus Murray, and Rat.

That's because they didn't want to make a longterm commitment to those players. Forte is a FA after the season

Apples to oranges

Can we decide after we see Cmike behind this line for extended carries. If Cmike does awesome, then no....if Cmike is terrible then maybe but depends on the pick you give up. Also I'd rather have Alshon I know he's injured but when he comes back, he's a #1 receiver type

If they trade for Forte or any other starting caliber back, then they probably didnt like what they saw in Michael. If thats the case you cut Michael and not lose the pick since he has to be on the 46 3 times for the compensation to kick in

older, 7.5 million a year tag....not sure if I want to strap ourselves that way....and its easy for faulk to play fantasy football, he doesn't have to make cap decisions.

I think we need to collectively understand that this FO is not willing to pay that kind of money for the position and I'm pretty sure the Jones' made it clear when they let Murray walk.

Hell no, I'll pass on forte all day. We don't need to get older and slower people. Randle and Christine are our rbs, leave it at that.

I think our experiment with our backs is not producing the results were had hoped. Forte is on the block and Marshall Faulk was saying the Cowboys would be a good place for him. I'm game as his price won't be that high.

What do you guys aay?

You know me I love a good RB thread !!!! :lmao2:

Randle and a 7th
or
McFadden and a 7th
or
C Mike and a ham-sammy...

With the players we have out injured, another RB is not making a difference. Our RBs and OL are performing without Romo and Dez. I reserve judgment on both until the real offense shows up. Would Murray be more successful in This offense without Romo and Dez loosening things up? I'm not sure he would.

No I want to save our picks and somehow some way get the kid from LSU we need our picks for the next 2 yr to make deals so we can snatch him in 17 so lets not blow anymore picks on players who will not contribute to future plans of our youth movement

In our one loss this yr rbs were not the problem
