I am not typically in favor of this kind of move.

Having said that, part of me wonders if <this> year is the possibly the best opportunity Romo has left to win a Superbowl given the overall talent level on both sides of the ball (when everybody comes back).

Forte makes the team <that> much better the second he steps on the field for the Cowboys.

Would I do this for a #3 or #4? Yes.

Adding Forte to our roster wouldn't add to the win total this year so I see no reason to spend a draft pick to get him. It's got nothing to do with romo either.

older, 7.5 million a year tag....not sure if I want to strap ourselves that way....and its easy for faulk to play fantasy football, he doesn't have to make cap decisions.

I think we could cut him without a cap hit, since we paid him no bonus. I hesitate also, but man in December having Romo, Forte and Dez...and all of our defense back...Watch out NFL!
