I really enjoyed the fIrst season with Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman. It's a whole new story line for this season. Im pretty excited for tonight's premiere

That first season was really good.

I hope this type of thing where they change actors and so on turns out ok.

After watching the first season of true detective and not being able to finish watching the discombobulated bottle of bat guano that was the second season I can only hope Fargo second season does not turn out the same way as true detective.

First episode was good.
People that are new to the Fargo series (and you can watch this season without missing anything as they are independent seasons) is that they are slow burner types of shows but they still have some shock and good stuff in them.

100% pure comedy? I wouldn't say that. It's a universe made up of quirky characters in somewhat disturbing situations.

Not 100% no but there is plenty of dark humor in last seasons episodes and some already in this one.

I watched the first episode of season 2 and couldn't get into it.

I understand the "over-the-top" nature of the violence and the word play... but it did nothing for me. I kept waiting for the over-the-top to be funny and it wasn't. And the story wasn't good enough to hold my attention.

There are times I read some of the goofy questions you pose in these TV threads and I wonder if you are being serious or are just trolling...and frankly I hope it is trolling because the alternative is worse.

I'm liking this show a lot. Loved the first season. Thought Billy Bob put up one of the greatest performances in TV history (that's including Matt in True Detective). This season doesn't have a single character on Billy Bob's level but the overall story might be a bit better. For all these new shows these days that reset after each season, I'd say Fargo is the one that stays at a high level.
