I was kind of hoping he'd be back and that we'd consider putting him back on ST units again. He's a good coverage player, and we can replace his production in the running game right now.
So begs the question re: special teams, if Randle is out for a bit and R. Smith plays special teams and DMC and C-Mike play well what happens to Randle when he is healthy?
At least this forces the coaches to stick with what is working.........DMC as the lead back. I was concerned that if Randle was not going to miss time, he would get the lead role back(he shouldn't).
This will allow to see what CM really offers until Randle returns.

Considering that Randle got injured and they still only gave C-Mike 5 carries on a day when they ran the ball 36 times, I would say that the coaches are still not sold on C-Mike.
McChicken will be hurt within the next two games. Especially if he keeps getting 20-30 carries a game like that. Seattle will beat him up nicely. If they are smart, they will start giving at least half the carries to Michaels.
Basically.Randle averaged 12 yard/carry before getting injured.
I was happy to see McFadden doing well, but the big change was the blocking and the threat of the pass which was not there when Weed was the QB.
