More injuries, can't catch a break! CMike is going from rocking 5 carries to a heavy metal 6 carries a game. I'm all for McFadden getting the bulk of the carries as long as he doesn't show his injury history.

Sorry for Randle but CM will do just fine as either a change of pace, lead or whatever they ask. Of course I too was happy to see McFadden finally get the workload and show something...... and although most want to limit his carries due to his injury prone history, I don't, because I do not think that had anything to do with his past injuries. Darren is rb who, like any good all around back, needs to find a rhythm, get a lather up, so putting him in in spot duty was/is a bad way to utilize the man. IF the staff tells him he's the lead back and schemes to his strengths with the game plan and this o-line we saw yesterday, then I expect to see even better performances, maybe much better. And God help defenses when Tony and Dez get back up to speed, provided it's not too late by then. It's crucial to win at least one of these next three.

Next Tyron Smith, or Travis Frederick will be injured. The injuries are comical at this point. Talk about bad luck.

This is SO very true. It seems we are averaging one starter injury (serious injury) per game. I would venture to say that has never happened in the league over a 6 game period.

Seriously. This is as about as snake - bitten as it gets. Couple that with a coach who can't win without his QB, and it's just downright depressing (to the point of hysterical laughter).

now McFadden looks like he follows his assignments, He does hit that hole fast. Cmike will be getting more carries now. thank god

i hope cmike pulls a "harris" and runs right through his former team. how sweet would that be?

At least this forces the coaches to stick with what is working.........DMC as the lead back. I was concerned that if Randle was not going to miss time, he would get the lead role back(he shouldn't).

This will allow to see what CM really offers until Randle returns.

I agree. I don't like this one, but I'm glad to see it force Dallas' hand since what we had been doing in the run game had not been working as well as we need it to. If McFadden goes back to being mediocre in the next game, maybe we need him to be "injured" to so we can get a good look at Michael.

I honestly don't care which of them emerges. I just want a run game that teams see as an every-down threat. I'll give McFadden credit (even though I've blasted his vision in the past) for being that type of player Sunday.

Randle averaged 12 yard/carry before getting injured.

I was happy to see McFadden doing well, but the big change was the blocking and the threat of the pass which was not there when Weed was the QB.

That stat is misleading. This is based off 2 carries the whole game? Problem with Randle is that he'll get a good chunk of yards and one big carry then you see him get 1-2 yards for the rest of the day. He is inconsistent and is better off being a change of pace back.

Let him sit on the bench while MacFadden and Michaels do the bulk of the carries.

I'll admit the McFadden piece was a pleasant surprise but I knew Michael would do well (albeit in limited action again).

I'll say it once more for another successive week. Randle is not a "lead dog". The sooner the coaches move past their propensity to start him in that spot against all odds, the sooner we move on to pulling together a running game that will sustain and work.

Michael did well? Easily the worst RB yesterday.

The OL has been inconsistent. Randle has been fine. Rave about McFadden if you want, but Randle does better yesterday if he plays all game. Michael looks pretty bad IMO.

Randle has been a good or better than McFadden in previous games.

The game was about improved blocking and the defense backing off the run because rhis QB would throw the ball more than 3 yards.

Randle has done more than Michael at this point.

Michael did well? Easily the worst RB yesterday.

The inability to embrace the talent pool on our roster is truly sad. You guys actually believe placing CM in for a play here & a play there is the path to success? Thank god you're not making the coaching decisions. I would be even hotter than I have been.

Randle is not a lead dog.

Stop trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Randle is not a lead dog.

Randle works well as a change of pace back and can sustain that type of work for 4 quarters.

Randle starts games like a world class sprinter.

He finishes those same games like a world class donkey.

CMike may one day actually get a series or two. I won't hold my breath on that though. This staff is obviously still stuck on proving to the world that they were right about Randle's ability to replace Demarco.

Let me also add that handing the ball to DMC 29 times a game is not going to be the winning formula folks. We need to keep him fresh. Give him 20 or so carries and Cmike 10 or so.

Cut Randle (I kid I kid)

McChicken will be hurt within the next two games. Especially if he keeps getting 20-30 carries a game like that. Seattle will beat him up nicely. If they are smart, they will start giving at least half the carries to Michaels.

And I assume you're for limiting Romo's snaps as well, since he has shown being fragile over the past three years...and from the QB position.

If you watched McFadden his career, he gets better the more carries he gets. You don't limit a player because he's "injury prone". SMDH.

McFadden or Michaels should be the starter... I'm tired of this rotation crap. You need consistency SMH! I understand giving your lead dog breaks but what we are doing is crazy.
