I hope so.... I don't like our chances with McFadden staying healthy and only Michael as a backup. IMO-- a trade for Matt Forte or Lamar Miller makes a ton of sense. Not only would they would be an upgrade in terms of talent and vet leadership-- but they would allow McFadden to be used as an excellent change of pace RB.

Forte in particular would be a "splashy" JJ type-move. Would give the team a morale boost and would add a bona-fide playmaker on offense in both the running and passing game.

Should a team with 2 wins trade for an older RB that, IIRC is a free agent after the season?

McFadden is giving all he has, but I'm very concerned because he couldn't even make it the entire game without needing an IV. It's only a matter of time before he gets hurt. Then we only have Christine Michael. My lord.

Yes, McFadden was insert back into the lineup immediately after returning from getting the IV while C-Mike had a minimal number of snaps and they even used Rod Smith despite C-Mike getting only a few snaps.

Jerry jones told Archer that we won't be making any trades today.

So much for speculation of Doug Martin, Demarco, or Lamar Miller.

We roll with McFadden, Michael, and some guy I think may be named Smith.

Doubtful that was going to happen.
Behind Miller is Damien Williams and Jonas Gray.
Jay Ajayi is on IR to return.
No way they were realistically going to trade Miller when they still have a shot at the wildcard

I agree cutting Joseph randle was the correct decision and prolly should of happened a while ago. I disagree with the notion he was a "cancer" however, he just doesn't produce enough to justify his decisions on and off the field, no more no less. I don't believe we botched the rb position at all because similar to what YR said, we did have production with Dunbar and to an extent McFadden while there was really no better opportunity to upgrade the position in the draft realistically (which was justified by the poster who showed the comparisons of the rookie running backs this year.) Chris Johnson might have been an answer but hindsight is 20-20. Michael is not the answer and granted he hasn't carried the ball much it's pretty clear why he's in the position he is in. Also passing on Murray is and will always be correct and if you don't get that, it's fine but you're wrong.

The DC.com squad holds their tongue when the powers that be say so. Charlotte Jones runs that operation btw.

I've always wonder about the purpose of all those people that work for the dc.com media dept. I guess it's so that Charlotte has something else to be in charge of.

Spray Tan is a stand up human being?:lmao2:

ohhh. so youre going to judge him on that? What is this......The View?

but I'll give you that petty, childish, inexperienced point of of view, and rephrase my words.

Stand up, legit, NFL professional football player, who had earned the trust of Romo and coaches,so much that they relied on him week in and week out , in crucial situations.

All over Twitter.

**breaking news*** The Joseph Randle saga is over in Dallas. He has been released by the Cowboys per sources

It is unfortunate that the Cowboys won't just tell the truth about his story to the public. It just creates more speculation and angst among the fans.

I guess if it's mental or legal they can't comment but they probably wouldn't anyway.

I don't necessarily disagree that the RB spot could have been handled differently. But banging on the Chaz Green pick is a little bizarre to me when one considers the RBs that fell in the draft in the next 20 picks or so after the Green pick were the likes of Matt Jones (OK), Langford (done nothing), J. Allen (done nothing), Mike Davis (done nothing).

Now if one of those guys was blowing up, you might have an argument. But all four of those guys might (likely) might not have been any better than what we started the season with.

It's really not Chaz Green's fault he was selected where a RB should have gone. I agree.

Weird way for his time in Dallas to end, I hope this wakes him up and he gets another chance elsewhere.

Screw him. JG and the brass gave him plenty. Even gave him a starting role. Maybe he can be underwear security at some mall.

Disgraceful!

what a waste of a season for a franchise qb who only has one or two more in him.
