I have not really blamed the defense during this losing streak, but tonight I have changed my mind in the worst way. Not once did they make a stop when they had to. 2 OT losses in the first possession this year is pathetic.

And they blew the Seattle game too....17 play drives for game winners are no accident

Anyone blaming the offense here is just dumb. Over 400 yds of offense. Defense with no turnovers again. One sack against an OL with two tackles playing out of position. How can you honestly try to put this on the offense?

I agree and its sad to say when the Eagles got the ball in OT then I knew it would be a repeat of what happened against the Saints weeks earlier in OT and my sentiments were correct well neither Dallas, nor Philly will make the postseason this defense crapped the bed tonight that's all there is to it the offense did enough even with the pick six to give this team a chance if I'm Romo, I will not come back to this atrocity of a season well at least we'll have a top draft choice.

I don't want to say there's a disconnect, but there is obviously something not right between the offense and the defense. I've never seen a team that cannot feed off of the other unit quite like our team. It's been like this for awhile now.

Whenever the offense makes plays, the defense craps the bed. Then the offense wakes up and makes a few plays and the defense rolls over. They don't work together to build momentum and feed off one another. I think that is the major hurdle that stops us from being a good team.

It's telling enough Garrett can changes DCs and defensive philosophies,while blaming the defense for not producing enough TOs, but when it comes to Callahan implementing new offensive schemes, Garrett starts resisting and playing politics, taking about continuity and Jerry is there with the same nonsense..

Byron Jones is not a slot CB, either play him on the outside or at safety but not at the slot. and please just bench Mcclain already idc how bad D.Wilson is

This defense is so over rated and changes need to be made. Both starting defensive tackles are not playing very good at all. McClain is slow and does not want to be out there. He is the ultimate head case and needs to be benched, period. Wilcox should never play again on defense. He continues to be out of position and run around like a chicken with his head cut off. Those 3 areas are killing this over rated defense.

Defense just doesn't have anyone making plays. No sacks, no turnovers. They only get stops by getting in the way every once in awhile.

let's not forget about the 3rd and 18 they gave up.... whether that was coaching or execution.. who cares.. essentially they are the weaker unit, which is frustrating

The offense and defense are equally responsible for this debacle (meaning the whole season). The defense blew against Atlanta and tonight. The offense looked pretty good in those two games. The offense sucked against the Giants and Seahawks and the D played well. Special teams always suck. It's a total cluster **** starting from the top to the bottom. I wish we'd trade Tony to a contender. He deserves much better.

How's it unfair? He said you knew "the Cowboys" would fold. Not the defense, not the offense. I knew we'd lose after we tied the game and forced overtime. When the offense plays well enough to win, the defense blows it. When the defense plays well enough to win, the offense blows it. When they both play well, special teams blows it.

exactly. Garrett and Marinelli have both been frauds this year. You give it a few games, but when losing streaks reach 6 games....it's the coaching.
