Ugh. When we take the field against Miami next week it will have been over two months since we won a game.

As a Cowboy's fan it is getting harder and harder to root for this team.
Overpaid underachievers from top to bottom.
Starting with the coaches who appear the game has passed them by. And then the players who collectively cannot win 1 game without the starting quarterback. The offensive line which has truly regressed and gets worse as the game goes on. The rushmen who can't beat their man whether it be the starter or 3rd stringer. The receivers who struggle to get open and on and on.
I'm really hating this team right now.

If Jerry had balls he would fire Garrett tonight.................to not be able to win 1 single game without Romo is a freaking disgrace.

Also.........first time in franchise history we have blown a lead in 4 consecutive games.

But I am sure the Garrett jock riders will be along any second to explain how their boy is not responsible for any of this...............we all know the names, so no need to mention them.

Some quick thoughts:

- Byron Jones is our future FS. Heath is a rotational backup at best. Looked pretty good out there today except for the horrendous penalty. Need a SS to go alongside Jones.

- We lost this game because of horrendous playcalling. The Bucs started to send the blitz figuring that Cassell couldn't read it well and they were right. But, by the same token, the Bucs were leaving Dez 1-on-1 and for some reason we still think going to Witten on a pivot route or a flare and asking him to pick up the first down will actually work when it has *never* worked his entire career. And we still feel the need to try and throw a deep pass to Williams in a jump ball situation which again....has never really worked in his career.

We get the ball into the Bucs red zone and on 1st down we run shotgun. The same on 2nd down. No sense of keeping the defense honest because...why would we ever want to do that?

I'm sure the O-Line will get ragged on, but when a team is sending 6 or 7 and you only have 5 to block, somebody is getting free. It requires the receivers and QB to beat the blitz, not the O-Line. And Cassel and the receivers could not do it, but by the same token...there was no change in the gameplan to figure this out.

I've really grown tired of Garrett this season. He's all about technique and player development which is great, but he and Linehan have zero ability when it comes to managing a game and seeing the overall big picture when it comes to play calling and how to help out talent when they have inferior talent at a position.

The players didn't deserve to lose this game. They played hard. But Garrett deserved to lose the game with that amount of ineptness in the play calling and adjustments. I usually hate to talk about play calling when it comes to a team's failure, but it was an embarrassment to watch today and it didn't deserve my fandom today.

YR

Just got home from Ray J. Heath had two redzone INTs, that alone still should've turned the game in our tide. Also, calling counters and traps on third and short drive me to pull my hair out.

Claiborne was hurt or was pulled, I couldn't tell. McClain and Hitch stepped up today I think too.

Its time to make a change.....change the scheme....change the OC and change the Head Coach....this team needs an EXPERIENCED head coach who is not OJTing from Jerry Jones...his pet HC project is an utter failure...like the Cowboys since the Jimmy Johnson days

Wade Phillips, Dave Campo and other ex-cowboy coaches are having a good laugh today at Jerry Jones expense. Another EMBARRASSMENT from the Garrett / Jones team

There'll be time later in the week for us to get into it visionary. You can accuse me of something I've never said and then just disappear then when I pull out the links to the actual argument. Right now, I'm busy with other stuff, but I promise I won't disappear if you tag me in any conversation you want to have, fair enough?

I'm not interested in your superficial opinion lol, just calling out your double speak

Sorry. Refs don't call game changing plays for the Cowboys, only against them.

The refs are not going to throw a flag when the receiver doesn't even put his hands up to catch the ball.

For $70 million, I expect at least one hand to go up to at least pretend you are trying to catch the ball.................but maybe that is just me.

The fact that Jerry is so committed to JG makes this even harder. Usually you try to find the sliver of hope in a bad situation. Some fans get excited over the draft ect...

There is zero chance the clapper is replaced. This makes it hard because it will be hard to get excited going into next season knowing that Romo is always just 1 play away from going down and taking our season with it again.

Romo is the only QB that could succeed with this offensive system.

And as I said in the game thread, I was watching Philly-Miami and it pissed me off even more.

Dolphins started stunting and slanting and the Eagles had little answer for it. But we played that Eagles OL pretty much straight up it seemed. This staff seems incapable of making "good' adjustments. I am sure they make adjustments but they don't seem to actually work.

That's why I don’t care if we get the #1 pick as long as he is still the coach.

from the moment Romo went down, everyone on the coaching staff has shown exactly how pathetic they are. They are all a bunch of dogs as far as coaching is concerned. Inept. Clueless. Lost.
