I don't care, I never wanted Jason in the first place and felt he wasn't ready to be handed the keys to America's team.

I know whoever Jerry brings in will not succeed either under his reigns.........but past-tired of looking and listening to Garrett.
fair enough ;)

We can add Henry Melton to the list of our players like DeMarco and Harris who have come back to beat us this year.

So it wasn't the coaches fault the team lost initially
Then the losing "took on a life of its own"

But you're not saying it is not the coaches fault

Lol, talk about your usual double speak

There'll be time later in the week for us to get into it visionary. You can accuse me of something I've never said and then just disappear then when I pull out the links to the actual argument. Right now, I'm busy with other stuff, but I promise I won't disappear if you tag me in any conversation you want to have, fair enough?

this idiot beasley is on twitter fighting with the dallas media too. this team is full of mental midgets.

mental midgets is putting it nicely, the look like immature, middle school boys (no offense to those middle school boys on the forum here) throwing a fit

Another thing I just realized.. There can't be a holding call by member of the defense when the QB is passed the line of scrimmage.. Can there?

Reflection of the coach. Bill Parcells would have these boys scared to speak. As long as Garrett has them standing in a straight line for the anthem it means they're disciplined according to Team Garrett though.

already discussed, it was a long developing play and occurred prior to QB passing line

"We're going to find out who we are" Jason Garrett

I can tell him today, right now. And I could have told him any day of the season in the past few years. Last year was fools gold and a lot bought in, but its the same guy clapping at 8-8, 12-4 or 2-7 losing games that only his teams ca lose.

These coaches might suck, but I always chuckle at this overwhelming "talent" the Cowboys supposedly have.

Neither safety would start for any of the other 31 teams. If the Cowboys rush 4, no one gets near the qb. Ro McLain is talented but had retired 3 times already at age 25. Mo Claiborne, Carr, Patmon and White at corner? When in their career have they made plays? Waiting....

The O-line is talented, there isn't 1 tight end that can stretch the seam which every team seems to have. The qbs the last 30+ quarters of Cowboys football have been Weeden and Cassel. Dez is talented, but not one other wr can get vertical, other than Raiders castoff Butler and occasionally the stone handed Terrence Williams.

I don't see all of this "talent" others see

We didn't look that great with Romo. Should've lost the first Giants game and it took a boneheaded decision by Eli and a miracle drive by Romo to pull out the win. And the offense didn't look that great against Philly but the defense had a once in a decade performance.

I know.

Those things tend to happen for you when you have a guy like Romo. A few more plays break your way, and maybe your team treads water until they figure it out a bit later in the season. As it is, we're out of time, and the rest of the team isn't where it needs to be, for sure. Romo's good for a few extra big plays/game, but it might not matter if the rest of the team doesn't play well. And I'm not talking about climbing into contention anymore. I'm just talking about ending the losing streak.

Some quick thoughts:

- Byron Jones is our future FS. Heath is a rotational backup at best. Looked pretty good out there today except for the horrendous penalty. Need a SS to go alongside Jones.

- We lost this game because of horrendous playcalling. The Bucs started to send the blitz figuring that Cassell couldn't read it well and they were right. But, by the same token, the Bucs were leaving Dez 1-on-1 and for some reason we still think going to Witten on a pivot route or a flare and asking him to pick up the first down will actually work when it has *never* worked his entire career. And we still feel the need to try and throw a deep pass to Williams in a jump ball situation which again....has never really worked in his career.

We get the ball into the Bucs red zone and on 1st down we run shotgun. The same on 2nd down. No sense of keeping the defense honest because...why would we ever want to do that?

I'm sure the O-Line will get ragged on, but when a team is sending 6 or 7 and you only have 5 to block, somebody is getting free. It requires the receivers and QB to beat the blitz, not the O-Line. And Cassel and the receivers could not do it, but by the same token...there was no change in the gameplan to figure this out.

I've really grown tired of Garrett this season. He's all about technique and player development which is great, but he and Linehan have zero ability when it comes to managing a game and seeing the overall big picture when it comes to play calling and how to help out talent when they have inferior talent at a position.

The players didn't deserve to lose this game. They played hard. But Garrett deserved to lose the game with that amount of ineptness in the play calling and adjustments. I usually hate to talk about play calling when it comes to a team's failure, but it was an embarrassment to watch today and it didn't deserve my fandom today.
