Nobody's being prevented from venting, at all. Those venting posts are being constrained into existing topics for a short period of time.
Agree to disagree on the problem being Jason Garrett. And think more about what Jimmy's actually saying there in that argument you're making, because he's probably not saying that the issue is coaching (I haven't heard the specific clip, so I'm basing that off of what Jimmy's said in the past because I know from experience he usually hints the issue is with Jerry).

and thats where I maintain it comes back to the coaching staff. When your star goes down, it is on the coaching staff to get their players to out-perform their talent level. Whether it's by leading, motivating, intimidating.....all coaches have their own ways. Except our coaches. Once # 9 went down, this coaching staff was lost. They didnt have clue number one as to how to get a couple of wins. No idea whatsover.

It seems pretty clear now that we are not nearly as good on either side of the ball as we once thought, and most of our key players have underperformed all year.
I don't buy into "look how few points were given up"... Most teams play us very conservatively. Yet every time we score, teams seem to answer easily. Have the lead, score tied, forced overtime...any time a team needs to score to tie or win, they've done it all season. Not a single stop at crunch time with game on the line.
Look at last year's scores and the turd QBs we faced. Yet the only difference I see between last year's stellar record and this year's total failure is that last year we had Romo driving for the end of game win or directing the offense to first downs that kept our sad defense off the field at crunch time. Does Romo make us a great team? No....we are not a great team with or without him, but he wins most of the close games despite our defense, special team, or offensive failures. Even last year we noticed that the offense could stink all game, but in the two minute drill before the half or end of game, we moved the ball when Romo was no longer running plays from the sideline.
Blame the season on Romo's injury, but I'm guessing Garrett hangs on because of that and Jerry's ego. I'd love to replace both Linehan and Marinelli before next season.

Guys, don't argue, its not garrett, its everything around garrett, its the players, its the other coaches, its the other teams for not helping. It was the bucs who called up garrett and said, dont target moore. It was marinelli who did the bad plsy calling. It was the fans who dont cheer loud enough. It was the league for the bsd refs, the weatherman for the wind and the mailman for the wrong address. This week we will be blaming an alligator for the moss, but let me make this clear, it is not garret, now listen, we still got thisx we w8n next week, all romo has to do is do things hes never done before, and if that dont work we ll blame him too. But clearly its not garrett when the rest of the universe doesnt comply, ok. Thats it. Now stop blaming him

What Jimmy said today was a shot at Jerry. Jason was just an innocent pawn and he basically got a pass as the blame was put on Michael Jackson, I mean Jerry Jones.

What's the difference? The threads are there if you want to vent. Why create a new thread only to have it buried once the threads are merged? That accomplishes nothing but showing users a front page with a bunch of confusingly duplicated threads that they're all participating in at the same time, then confusing them as those threads get culled and merged into the singular topics they belong in in the first place. And then I'm doing nothing but answering the 'what happened to my thread' and the 'what happened to my post' PMs that flood in.
We live in a real time world, where you can post on topic in the open threads in real time. You don't need the right to duplicate just because your emotions are running high and you want the satisfaction of your very own thread title for the few minutes it exists before getting combined with three other titles that say the exact same thing.

That's what I figured. That's par for the course. And there's merit to that argument, too. I hate that the players in Dallas can go around the coach.
Woody makes that same criticism from time to time.
