Tom Landry didn't start off winning. It took time for him to build a team with character guys and a winning attitude

Garret's close to that guys. Trust me

Did this seem clever before you hit that reply button? I bet it really did.

It's one of those you just post and then hope nobody pays attention to, huh?

Cassel is solid at his best game. Romo wins here bc he can extend plays.

Agree with that.

I'm just saying when your star QB goes down that you can't rely on Cassell to just win a game with his talent.

No back tracking here. Name me a Gents defensive player outside of JPP and DRC? Great talent!

How can you argue the track record? Is it luck? Circumstance? A random series of unfortunate events?

Or are they just not GMed by a lunatic owner and his equally illegitimate son?

Is it all the coaches who have run through here on a seemingly endless loop since Clinton was in his first term or is the one thing that hasn't changed?

Well, he had 5 years already to build a team like that. I guess we just have to wait another 5 years.

Guys, don't argue, its not garrett, its everything around garrett, its the players, its the other coaches, its the other teams for not helping. It was the bucs who called up garrett and said, dont target moore. It was marinelli who did the bad plsy calling. It was the fans who dont cheer loud enough. It was the league for the bsd refs, the weatherman for the wind and the mailman for the wrong address. This week we will be blaming an alligator for the moss, but let me make this clear, it is not garret, now listen, we still got thisx we w8n next week, all romo has to do is do things hes never done before, and if that dont work we ll blame him too. But clearly its not garrett when the rest of the universe doesnt comply, ok. Thats it. Now stop blaming him

The sad thing is a lot of people on this board actually believe something along these lines. It is NEVER on Garrett, at all.

Nobody's being prevented from venting, at all. Those venting posts are being constrained into existing topics for a short period of time.

Agree to disagree on the problem being Jason Garrett. And think more about what Jimmy's actually saying there in that argument you're making, because he's probably not saying that the issue is coaching (I haven't heard the specific clip, so I'm basing that off of what Jimmy's said in the past because I know from experience he usually hints the issue is with Jerry).
do I think Garrett is the reason we are so bad this year. Not so much. what I will say is that he hasn't demonstrated that he is anywhere good enough to remain absent from the hot seat

The offense is just completely inept without Tony. 6 points against the Bucs? Why even pretend to put a gameplan together?

I'm a little over the Linehan and Garrett offense. There's absolutely no excuse when you have a pro bowl receiver, a hof tight end, and a great young OL.
