One of the hosts asked the other one if there are any issues in the locker room...

He stated that a few of the players are grumbling about the lack of adjustments that Marinelli makes. His philosophy is old school in that he says he will stick with the original gameplan and refuses to adjust as it is up to players to execute...

Marinelli is a dinosaur, his time in the NFL is up.The blitz was working and he backed off from it for some reason.

These little digs at Marinelli are starting to make me angry because it will lead to him being the scape goat.

They need to fix this offensive scheme.

No surprises there. It is painfully obvious that the staff make few adjustments while the other teams adapt.

He did that against NO and Philly. Early effective blitzing...backs off, gets toasted.

This should be no surprise to anyone who watches this team.

I agree. I now understand why Romo waits till the last second to snap the ball. Its because hes busy completely changing the play that the coaches called for. This teams has the talent but we are doing the most predictable stuff every game.

I've said it a few times. I saw the Eagles game today. Miami came out early and struggled, their DC went to more stunts to confuse the Eagles OL and sure enough, the Miami DL started to dominate.

Marinelli never made that adjustment last week it seemed. We just kept trying to beat them straight up.

I really like rod but his scheme obviously isn't working this year. I really want to go back to the 3-4.

There is a BIG difference between this D and the one he ran in Chicago, and that is the turnover things. Such as slapping at the ball, which was Lovies version of the Tampa 2.

That sounds like the entire coaching staff.

Jesse Holly also said their are players in the locker room who don't care for Garrett's coaching and philosophy....he clarified thy may like Jason the person, but they may not agree with his game philosophy.

Another thing he said (which most of us know in general anyway), was that in the game winning OT play in the 49ers game several years ago, the play Romo called was not the play Garret called. He said Romo told them we are going to win this game and we aren't going to do it with the play garret called so he called his own play...the game winning play. Know I know some will say, he changed the play when he threw the INT in the Jets game (I think it was), but I am willing to bet that Romo has succeeded more than failed in the times that he has changed the play.

This is all an indictment that Garrett is not the answer. The front office needs to understand that just because you went to an Ivy league school, played back-up QB on SB winning teams and your dad was a FO guy, it doesn't make you qualified to be a head coach. Experience at progressively different levels and incremental success in all facets of the game is what makes good coaches, not a pedigreed QB coach.
