Heard this one caller bring up how bad garrett is and they scrambled to reach the dump button n hang up on him. Their response was basically don't blame the coaching, and how he was so successful last year. You don't get rid of coaches that have good seasons and made him sound like some great coach.:eek: The dude went 8-8 for a couple of years. Last year may have been a fluke, players giving it their all, or who knows. I don't understand the pass given to Garrett by the media, not just local but national. So tired of hearing about his philosophy and how its owners, players, janitors, and fans fault cowboys are losing except Garrett. Everyone deserves some blame for this mess.

The defense isn't giving up many points, but they are breaking at crucial moments. This defense has given up entirely too many last minute game winning drives to be considered good. The defense has also completely folded in OT games. This defense tends to fold to pressure. When the opposing offense gets desperate, this defense hasn't shown the ability to match the tenacity.

If a team loses 6 games 3-0 on last minute field goals, some of the people here round still blame the defense. They should have held them to "0". " how can the defense let them move into field goal position" Hahaha

People just have agendas. The Dallas defense could use some improvement, but the offense stinks. People argue " why didn't the defense hold when we needed them the most in last 3-4 minutes"
Answer: " why did the offense put us in that position to have to hold...why couldn't the offense score a touchdown or not go 3 and out for like 10 drives".

The defense is rated 7th. What's the offense ? 27th?

One thing Holly said is that the opposing offense is running a number of different looks to set up drives late in the game knowing there will be no adjustment...

They'll see something then put a scheme in their hip pocket and wait until late in the game to use it...

Seeing that this team folds like a cheap suit in the end, giving up the most yards that it does in the game in the 4th quarter, I'd say his assessment is pretty accurate.

Marinelli isn't the problem. He is working with Jeff Heath JJ wilcox and Barry Church as key secondary players. The problem is all the distractions. Hardy. Dez. The team of last year is so far gone. This team looks completely different. Changes need to be made. But I'm not sure what. Other than finding long term answer at QB and RB. We now know we need studs at these 2 positions.

I just want to flip some desks right now.
But I don't feel like cleaning up the mess.

I need a boat. Keep your eye open for a 24-30 footer I can put on a trailer. 28 Carolina Classic would be great.

How r u doing?

Won the turnover battle two out of last 3 weeks. Didn't matter.

Offense was clicking last week, defense still couldn't get it done.

But they're not the issue...

If you can't stop Winston late in the 4th, you're not stopping anyone. We couldn't stop Brees, Eli, Bradford, Winston, or Wilson late in the 4th.

They're not the issue though...

If Marinelli is the scapegoat, Linehan should be the first to slaughter. Hire Josh McDaniels to replace the Carrot. Show some innovation on O, and dump everyone in the secondary not named Jones or Scandrick.

Haha, Josh McDaniels. The man who thought Tebow was the future.

One of the hosts asked the other one if there are any issues in the locker room...

He stated that a few of the players are grumbling about the lack of adjustments that Marinelli makes. His philosophy is old school in that he says he will stick with the original gameplan and refuses to adjust as it is up to players to execute...

Yup we have all been saying that. It's obvious

Yeah, I heard a couple of times they said they couldn't find a reason to blame coaching for this loss and that this further illustrates why the FO needs to get behind Garrett so that he can get the "RKG"s" who can handle adversity. I was like really?!?!?! you are going to sit here and try to convince me that we are losing because Garrett doesn't have his guys and they can't handle adversity???? I really don't understand why Garrett gets a pass. In a very similar situation Wade Phillips got the boot. If we don't win at least 5 when Romo gets back, then I don't see any difference from the 2010 season.

I really do think the winds blew in our favor last year. There were a lot of games that we won that we could have easily lost and ended up with a losing record instead of 12-4...in several of those games, it was thanks to Romo and/or Murray. but at the end of the day, it really may have been more the luck of the football gods than truly real talent that finally got us over the hump of 8-8.

If the defense gives up the game losing TD in 5 of the last seven games, i.e. couldn't get a stop when it was absolutely necessary on 5 separate attempts, then you can lay some blame at the feet of the defense.

Some blame, fine. If other factors were different (I.e. QB play, etc...), I think we'd have pulled out a game or two during this stretch.

No wonder him and Garrett get along. That is a staple of a Garrett offense as well.

I've said it a few times. I saw the Eagles game today. Miami came out early and struggled, their DC went to more stunts to confuse the Eagles OL and sure enough, the Miami DL started to dominate.

Marinelli never made that adjustment last week it seemed. We just kept trying to beat them straight up.

Where do you think that's comes from?
