I can hear it now in the huddle....
OK 88 you run a 12 yard out...
15 yard in...
Slant.....
12 yard Post....
I swear I have seen more imagination in some flag football leagues.

did you see that Brady pass against the blitz at the end of the game ,he and the WR both recognized the blitz and got the ball in quickly to set a game tying FG.I have never seen anybody do that here with Garrett.

Dez has been on the field the last two games bro......................0-2

Whats the next excuse?

Once again....its hard finding an example of a team who lost their #1 receiver and #1 quarterback and went on to have success. If you expected it then I don't know what to tell you. You thought more highly of this team then I did that's for sure.

Everybody knew the Cowboys were going to struggle when Romo went down. Nobody is saying this team should be worldbeaters without him in there. Nobody.

But to go 0-7 with this team and in today's era of parity, even without Romo, is completely inexcusable. They should have taken 2-3 wins easily over the past seven weeks. This team is far more talented than any team Dave Campo ever coached, and we never saw a stretch this bad in his time here. There are multiple teams in the NFL right now who have worse personnel and just as bad (or worse) quarterbacks under center, and they still have found ways to win games. Without Romo, this team could be 0-9 right now. Let that sink in for a minute.

Obviously the coaching staff does not deserve all the blame. Nobody is saying that either. But at some point, when you're the head guy, you deserve to take the heat. The buck supposedly stops with you. You set the tone and you set the gameplan. Without Romo, Garrett has demonstrated what a fraud he is. He's got to go, but unfortunately, he won't.

I agree its inexcusable but its happened. I've watched every single one of these games. I've seen us lose because we can't muster up more than 6 points. I've seen us lose because our defense has been on the field for too long. I've seen us lose because we can't run a efficient 2 minute offense. Is this inexcusable? Yes it is. But its all clear to why its happening. Maybe if Cassel had a training camp things would've been going far better than what they are but he didn't and this team can't play without Romo. The coaches can't coach this talent to a win. They can't adapt or make in-game adjustments.

You'll find plenty teams that have lost #1 WR and #1 QB, but you still won't find many that have lost 7 games in a row without those players.

What plenty of teams have done it?

Its also hard to find a team that has been stacking good drafts on top of good drafts building a deep roster thru the process, yet cant muster ONE stinking win out of 7 games when 6 of the 7 games were all winnable.

You see a deep team here?

Nope missed it....
I suspect Linehan used about the same O in Detroit.....Ok CJ you just run down the middle of the field and were throwing a jump ball your way.
Repeat ad infinitum..

What plenty of teams have done it?
So far SF has won more games without their #1 QB, #1 WR, #1 RB than the Cowboys have.

So what's the excuse now?

Why is it that we're the only team that can't find a way to win when we have injured players?

Oh that's right, it's because we have too many dang fans, coaches, and the top of our organizations that keep making damn excuses.

It's getting beyond pathetic.

Garrett is like teflon.. He gets passes everywhere. Today when Terry Bradshaw said we need a different coach Howie blamed it on Jerry.

With Red he never is at fault for anything. Its injuries. Its a talent less roster. Its Jerry.

i was just reading John Garrett was OC for Oregon State last year. He's no longer OC and is a Quality Control Specialist on Offense at Florida.

First of all, how does the Garrett clan keep finding jobs? It's obvious they aren't successful wherever they go.

Second, this was the guy that got promoted from TE coach to Passing Game Coordinator under His brother over here. Nepotism at its finest...

The fact that guys like Calvin Watkins was saying Jerry forcing Jason to fire his brother was a sign of anything but good, is comical...

Jerry and Stephen were/are the problem, not Jason Garrett. He was establishing the culture that he wanted and BOOM, Greg Hardy is forced upon him.

Any talk of him being fired is stupid. He's in the first year o a 4 year deal. Too much money left.

The defense was trash without Hardy...

What are you talking about? So the argument is winning 1 game or having success? I stated that no team has had much success losing their #1 receiver and qb tandem and you bring up a team like San Fran who sucks even when healthy. How is that disproving my point ?

And now its the "fans" fault we are losing. You guys are delusional and silly lol. Wake up. We had these same fans, coaches and executives last year when you were enjoying a 13 win season. Hmm...I wonder what's the difference between this year and last year.......

Whatever happened at Oregon State must not have been his fault.

Well, its what Ive read was being built here .. . . . . .

Oh I believe they are attempting too but I don't see many playmakers on this team. They are built deep with solid to average guys but it would help if we had a few more playmakers as well. When you rank the best players on this team specifically offense......i'm sure 3 of your top 5 will probably be offensive linemen and that's a problem IMO.

It sure wasnt last year

It wasn't last year because your top 5 best players on offense probably would've been Romo, Dez, Demarco, Witten and Tyron. Your top 5 players on offense this year.........you'd probably go Collins, Martin, Frederick's, Tyron and......Witten.

Can someone explain the holding penalty on Heath at the end?
The penalty occurred after Jameis had took off correct?
If so how can it be holding on a running play?
Am I missing something?

Did they win or not? And for how much they "suck", and you're correct on that, they've still won more games they have and won more with a backup RB, QB, and WR. So your argument is completely invalid.
