With our first pick id get a stud at DT, everything after that goes QB,RB and defense in no particular order.

The good thing about being behind 2 of those 3 teams is, two of them dont need a QB (SD & Tenn). We could be in a good position to draft Lynch or Goff.

The slots are what's important, not the teams. Several other teams are close enough to trade up and want QBs.

I would take CB Jalen Ramsey. He is another versatile guy like Byron Jones, who can play both CB and S. He has good size speed, plays the ball better then anyone else in college football imo.

If we finish say with the 5th pick id do at least 1 trade back preferably two .
if we could get a couple extra 2's and 3's maybe a #1 pick in 2017 it might get us a qb in 2017 and we could replenish many holes in our line up in 2016 draft.

I Just dont see this team competitive for super bowl next year given Romo's health.
Its got to be a psuedo rebuild now.
I would not sign Hardy, let Free go, let Carr go. We need DT, DE, S, CB, LB from draft.
id sign 2 solid speedy WR's and mid level RT.

Given how they previously performed without Romo, I can see them ending around

We need to hope and hope hard that this is not the case. This is a team that felt Weeden was a quality back-up, so it is not a stretch for them to see a few good games from Cassel and decide he is the answer in 2016.

Saying the Cowboys can't evaluate or develop QBs is going to be their downfall.

I have no faith this team and this HC could do that.

Garrett is supposed to be an offensive genius but he obviously is oversold.

Would you guys bet your house Garrett can handle it..?

Thought not.

So I really don't know how to proceed.

I do not want another defensive pick at #1 again.

or #2 or #3.

Can't see the Cowboys pulling the trigger on a QB in the top 5 with all the needs the team has and Romo isn't going to be coming off an injury that he can't recover from. This team needs their top pick on the field not carrying a clipboard the next 2 plus seasons. We seriously need to look at taking a QB in the second round but our first pick has to be an immediate starter.

Fact is College football is not producing NFL ready qb talent any more. The spread is rampant and these one look play calls from the sideline is just killing any type of progression there used to be. Any QB drafted will take 2 years to develop to quality starter every Sunday.

that was my case for begging to trade up to get teddy last year...but everyone laughed. one of the last college qb's to run a pro offense while at school

1988 was the only year I rooted for Cowboys losses, until now. It worked perfectly back then, so I'm hoping it will this year as well.

We need our next franchise QB, and with Romo being available for a few years to groom the kid, the Stars could be aligning for a perfect scenario.

Now that I type that, I fear this team will find a way to eek out a few victories and screw up the whole thing.

I would go with Connor Cook, he will be a great QB imo. Then get a RB and WR.

My first post, so I may get ridiculed to no end but, I think the best course of action is to go best available need in the first round (bosa or Hargreaves?) followed by QB in the second round. Perhaps hackenburg? He's a sleeper in this draft Imo. He's played fairly well considering he's played from his back for three years at psu. I am concerned that his body won't hold up, sometimes he looks like a 35 year old in 20 year olds body.

Hackenberg is not getting past Houston in the 1st rd. If we're gonna get a top notch qp we better do it with our 1st rd pick.
