And your banking on Romo's collarbone? Good luck w/ that..........:lmao:

I wouldn't bet on romo to stay healthy nor would I want to go into next season with kellen the starter. That's why we draft a qb and let him and kellen battle for the qb2 spot. Romo starts and if he goes down you have two adequate guys who can play the position, instead of those two geeks we used and lost 9 games with.

I thought he looked bigger then I thought, and definitely took command of the offense. His first pick should have been hands to the face and 1st down for us.

I'm more surprised that JG put him in then anything as he is Mr Conservative.

All in all I was excited to see him and want to see more. Btw his arm doesn't look bad at all to me. Tyrod Taylor, who we will see next, has a real weak arm.

I'm sure KM is a nice guy but....he threw three picks last night and two of them were atrocious. In NO way did I see anything that excited me. He's better than Cassel, I'll give him that. Otherwise.....meh.

To be fair, last time we saw Romo he tossed 3 picks, and I'd argue two of those were worse than Moore's. I agree with the OP that the kid has an it factor about him, poised, no deer in the headlight look. If he was playing the whole time instead of Cassell we are probably still in contention.

Moderators changed the title......

I think there is @ least a QB controversy started. You tell me...An up and coming guy 26 years old...that sparked the team....vs a 35 year old guy that hasn't won squat...busted collar bone 4 times w/ various other serious injuries. I just don't trust Romo to get through a season anymore....Nor do I see any upside to Romo. It's gonna be all down hill from here. Give me the young guy that is hungry. He's just gonna get better once they start game planning to his strengths...

Lets wait until we see other teams game plan for him first!

Even if he could beat out Romo, he'd never start. He is not friends with Garrett like Romo, Witten, and a few others are.

There are 2 games left R-E-L-A-X

He isn't going to beat out Romo ever...

Man floaty can't believe you're serious with that?

Dude please don't vote in the elections

He's bigger than Russell Wilson....seriously

Wilson 5-11, 206, wow, I thought Wilson was around 6-1 or 6-2
Brees 6-0, 209
Moore 6-0, 200

Romo 6-2, 230

Not endorsing Moore, but just showing the size. I am taking the middle ground approach.

He's a perennial backup. Dallas needs to draft a QB if they're really ready to pass the torch....

I don't generally miss games, probably 3-4 in the last 15 years, but I am somewhat intrigued by Moore which makes the last 2 weeks interesting.

When you go 50-3 in college, you have ability. Now, that might not be arm strength or the desired measurables. But smarts, leadership, intangibles, dare I say "moxie" (I remember that was a Romo buzzword), this kid has a little something. He threw 2 awful picks, but he didn't seem the least bit overwhelmed.

Once again, I preface it by saying was no NFL game tape on him, and it was 3 quarters, but the offense had much more flow with him in there. Those 2 picks were learning experiences, both were teachable mistakes. I'm hoping they are smart enough to give him the next 8 quarters and an offseason to develop. His upside is likely a quality backup, I'd like to see him be given a chance to earn that and who knows after that.

I still have the Commanders game tickets. Have them listed to sell a bit below face value. Just may need to go to see Moore play live. Can get a better perspective.
Though he still won't be the long term answer. But since Jerry won't draft a QB, need to see if he can be a backup for a year. Not that it will mean winning games until the defense is truly fixed.

I hate Jerry Jones for making our fan base so desperate that this thread exists.

Would be nice to beat the Skins and keep them form winning the division. Being there would be a nice bonus.
