I think Jerry will sign Berry or Weddle

And I for one think its the correct move. We need a vet back there. Signing one of them and help at the D tackle position in FA helps soooooo much. We have money to spend. Jerry will.

*IF* they can draft a strong CB, they can drop Jones to FS. I'd keep wilcox but purely as depth

Weddle is gone, he had his good-byes with San Diego on Sunday.

KC wants to keep Berry but he will be expensive.

Weddle will be a better choice for the money and the knowledge he can transfer for a couple years.

Put me down as being on the Weddle Train.

He is a really good football player. We were believed to be in the mix to sign him when he was on the market before he signed his last deal with San Diego.

I think they definitely sign a Safety and DT early in free agency and then fill some holes like CB, LB and RB later in the offseason depending on how the draft falls.

I'm going to start a manifesto thread also, there is a ton of money available and Jerry sees a short window for Romo. I can really see him trying to make a splash with a FA at a premium position like CB Josh Norman or WR Alshon Jeffrey.

Norman and Jeffrey almost certainly will be franchised.

Weddle is having a bad year sure but we played them the year before and he dominated Witten which isn't easy to do. Weddle also has had a severe groin injury early this year. Maybe he has found his way to the bag but it's not definitely the case.

If they are that age then that slots them for the Stephen two years special. Of course we don't want to sign him to a 4 year deal but people only become a higher risk as they age.

I'd love Jeffrey. What's the status of Brandon Marshall? It doesn't appear he's the head case he was and I've always loved his game.

Marshall has a contract for 9.5MM next year and 7.5MM the year after that. I'd love to see a player like that get cut and become available, but after a 100 catch season I can't see it happening.

They will look at a number of positions in FA but I'd guess pass rusher, CB, LB and S get the hardest looks. WR is not as hard to fill in FA nor RB.

He generally has a good year but seems to wander from team to team anyway.

I've watched alot of Charger games and he doesn't looked washed up to me.

He's 30 so he isn't a spring chicken, but if it's either him or Berry. I'll take Weddle.

He is not the same player as 2 years ago, I would pass on him.
