No..... we have to go cornerback.

Having a secondary generates a pass rush.

Selecting a talented DT or DE is not the answer. (jk)

You are 100% correct, I don't know what I was thinking.....................I stand corrected sir.

Jimmy only cut fringe guys to make his points. He never got rid of decent players. If Aikman had fallen asleep in a meeting, JJ'd have gotten him a pillow.

Irvin stabbed a teammate over a haircut
Haley was should have been committed to a psych ward
They were basically running a brothel called the "White House"

Yeah I would say he had different rules.
And we aren't even going to bring up the U

What's it going to be then, eh?

On an individual level, yes, but the argument of many of Hardy's detractors seems to be that his behavior disrupted team chemistry and morale, offsetting his individual contribution on the field which declined toward the end of the season.

Was the D that much better with him?

We are a bit thin at the position, though, as you pointed out.

I am not going to lie and say he met expectations.

But seriously, who in this season did?

Certain elements of the media just can't help themselves in piling it on a guy. One wonders how they would react if their lives met as much scrutiny and every mistake was magnified by others.

My guess is Hardy would have easily met his incentives if Romo and Dez were on the field. But since the offense scheme is terrible and could never threaten any defense without them, there was no need for the opposing offense to take risks which is when many sacks by players like him tend to come.

My guess is they would act with a little more situational awareness and circumspection than Hardy has demonstrated at times this season.

"Along the way, Hardy became a constant headache for Jason Garrett. The Cowboys coach met with him at least four times to address his conduct."

4 times?

Red not really imposing his will is he?

Hardy gotta go.

Maybe Red has problems with his communication skills . Garrett is so boring that Hardy probably fell asleep during the lecture that Red was giving him.

A team like New England will find a way how to deal with a character like him. The environment Garrett created is not made for individuals like Hardy.

And those are Hall of Fame players. Hardy is a guy with two dominant seasons under his belt and nothing more

Wonder what team mates soured on him? Was it anybody influential like Witten or Romo? Or was it JAGs.

So teammates soured on him for being late but still leading in playing time.....

So why would a teammate care if he got playing time? Did Hardy make that unilateral decision?

Actually, Garrett's environment is excellent. Jerry undermined it with guys like Hardy. Even a very strong coach like Parcells had to deal with similar behavior (TO). Hardy is on Jerry. Don't put that on Garrett

Red has no will to impose and it's BS like this where the coach loses credibility with his players. Red could no more bench Hardy than you or I have a chance to buy the Cowboys.

I don't put that on Garrett, I am just saying that Hardy is not a fit in Garrett's system. If you have to like Garrett's system or not is debatable.

Garrett can't handle any environment that isn't made up of choir boys. The worst he's had to deal with so far was Dez which isn't much of any thing any how. Pro ball players aren't all choir boys. JG is in over his head thinking he commands so much respect. He's certainly hasn't won enough to command much.
