Cooley's opinion: RG3 is going to Dallas

This better be in addition to QB at #4....................if the plan is RG3 over Wentz/Goff................wow, I would seriously question how bad we want to win.

No they would probably get RG3 and pull the third or fourth round QB which most of us will despise.

Not sure Dallas was going to take a QB at No. 4 anyway.

I don't mind Griffin. He's more worthy of the backup spot than Weeden and Cassel. I also believe that he's been humbled some by his experience in Washington, which hopefully will help him mature as a quarterback.

I'm not convinced they are either.

I think it was Stephen who said the team might add a veteran and a rookie. Griffin would be the vet. The question is when does Dallas plan to acquire a rookie? I'm not sure Wentz/Goff were ever in the plan because I don't know if the Cowboys want to spend a first-round pick on the position.

This board will explode if Dallas added Griffin as the vet and Manziel as the "rookie."

If Griffin is signed, Jones will back off the QB pursuit and proclaim problem solved.

There are very good points for and against.

It disgusts me to even think about RG3 in a Cowboys uniform.....but it is the Jerry Jones way.....exactly the way Jerry Jones has handled the Cowboys for 20years....20years of losing....20 years of embarrassing football. Just another reason for the masses to make fun of the Dallas Cowboys....STAY AWAY RGme....

Is it to much for Jerry Jones to build a respectable franchise that can win championships..... 20years....isnt that enough pain.

GM Jerry needs to sit down and watch the rest of the games RGIII played to form an oppinion. To say that he can do it based on a game played 3 years ago is as asinine as to say sombody like Josh McCown can play based on his 2013 stats.

If they picked up an acknowledged back-up like Colt McCoy they would probably still pick a QB at #4.

But if they picked up Griffin... all bets are off.
