CB Leodis McKelvin to visit Dallas ***signs with Eagles***

He was decent in 2013, but hurt a good chunk of last year. He does have some return ability as well.

Hopefully just for a potential return guy cause he gets burnt more than toast.

Actually wouldn't be a terrible signing. He's 30 years old, but on a short term deal he would definitely upgrade the secondary (hard not to) and is probably better than Carr for a fraction of the cost.

Good player when healthy, but hurt a lot!

30 years old too. Given the Jim Schwartz connection, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't leave Philadelphia. I think they have a 'wink/nod' deal in place already that allowed them to make the Byron Maxwell deal with the Dolphins.

The guy hasn't been able to keep a starting job throughout his tenure in Buffalo. I don't think he's an upgrade at all.

Makes sense.

I wouldn't be surprised if we are not more active with players like McKelvin, i.e. players who get cut, main reason being they do not count as signings that might affect compensatory choices.

Jacksonville supposedly has a deal with Malik Jackson, that could lead to Tyson Alualu or Roy Miller getting turned loose, which might be the kind of mid-range talent that we are looking at.

Probably because if you get comp picks then it doesn't matter if you waste picks in trades because you have free ones.

Neither has Scandrick. Doesn't make him a bad player.

Seriously, can some of you understand we are looking for depth? We are losing Carr and maybe Claiborne, we have late round picks and an undrafted CB behind them outside of Scandrick. Even IF we were to keep both Claiborne and Carr I'd want a signing like McKlevin. Go talk to Bills fans, they are not happy with him leaving due to him being a good player when he was healthy.

This would be a good depth signing, better than the trash Patmon and Moore we allowed a lot of playing time to.

Remember wanting him his draft year.

Can't believe he is already 30.
