A lot of the same people hating on McFadden are touting Miller and they are a lot alike.
They're a lot alike in that they can both catch the ball, that's pretty much where the similarities end. Miller is 24 and has big play explosive ability. DMC will be 29 next year and is basically just a chain mover.

That said, the two would compliment each other very well.

Love Lamar Miller, however Omar isn't a credible source. The Rappaport of Dolphins reporting if you will.

Yea.

Take it with a grain of salt, but at the same time I think there may be some substance to this rumor.

I'm just saying if you want a franchise RB you have to draft one early.

Over the last 15 years 18 of the top 20 RBs were 1st or 2nd round picks. 13 were 1st rounders.

All-time, 16 of the top 20 were 1st round picks. Two were 2nd rounders and 2 were 3rd rounders.

i think Elliott will be a Franchise RB behind this OL and is well worth the 4th pick. Of course if the QBs are gone I would love a trade back and to get EE at 10th or later.

Dude, this is not even close to true.
This is some seriously demented made up stat.

In fact in the last 15 years the top RB chosen yearly has been the best back in production only a couple of times.
Demarco Murray and Shady were easily the best backs in their draft classes.

The irony here is this thread is over Lamar Miller who was a 4th rounder.

Lamar Miller's agent's job is to drive his price as high as possible.
That means selling Dolphins on overpaying to keep him away from Dallas.
Has he had any discussion with Dallas? Likely. Anything substantive? Very unlikely.

Here is some substance.

The Miami Herald has heard the Cowboys are a "possibility" to land free agent Lamar Miller.

Cowboys.com's Bryan Broaddus also hinted on Twitter Tuesday morning that Dallas is indeed investigating what it would cost to sign Miller. Teams linked to Miller thus far include the Cowboys, Texans, and Buccaneers. For Miller's Dynasty league owners, Dallas would be an ideal landing spot behind the NFL's premier offensive line with Tony Romo and Dez Bryant also due back healthy.

Miller and McFadden compliment each other. McFadden would be reduced to complimenting Elliot who is a 3 down RB.

While Miller wants 6 million for 4 years =24 million, Zeke plays for 4million for 4 years if taken top 5, which saves 10 million in cap over 4 seasons.

Rushing yards is not a made up stat.

You are grasping at straws.

Actually top 4 will be 4/25m all guaranteed.

Miami doesn't know how to use him and he still averages good yards behind a bad offensive line. Hopefully he can play for a team that will actually use him.

Dolphins OL is one of the worst in the league and Tannehill hasn't exactly set the world on fire. I think MIller has performed pretty well considering everything going on in Miami.

I'd like the Cowboys to land a power back,,, Miller would be a nice pickup but not quite the bruiser I'm hoping for,,,
