Cowboys interested in Bilal Powell

I've always thought Powell was underrated and under utilized. I assume he comes cheap, him backing up McFadden plus a rookie plus possibly Dunbar on 3rd down if he's healthy, not bad.

Still on Team Lamar though.

I imagine he's a Dunbar replacement. DMC, a rookie, and Turbin or Powell.

is he better than Turbin? geez we are really dumpster diving this offseason

Not any different from what we've done every recent offseason. It'll pick up in a week or two, and there will still be players left.

I don't know why this team never adds any veteran pass rush help.

They love relying on a few good players(upfront) and the rest scraps!

He fits our offensive scheme nicely defenses will know as soon as he comes in the game it's going to be a pass. Playoffs.

3rd down back guys, relax and breathe. He's not a first and second down, he's a scat back. Most likely looking at options to replace Dunbar.

I see Powell as a replacement for Dunbar. He's not a power back and while he averages 4.0 yards a carry, he is not really what I would consider a guy who can come in and run the ball 20 times a game either. He's a third down guy who is going to come in on obvious passing situations and force the defense to account for him in the passing game. He will make you use a DB on him because LBs can't really cover him. 27 years old and hasn't been used up. If he is being considered as a replacement to Dunbar, I think he's a decent prospect.
