For the record, despite grandpa Romo and papa Witten and uncle Free, our average age is only 26 right now.I agree. Jerry thinks we can win now but he's wrong. This roster has not improved since we went 12-4. We are getting older and slower
No one, not you, not draft experts, not gm's, no one knows that Wentz will be a solid starter in the NFL.
Every QB is a gamble, even at the top of round 1. For every Aikman and even every Carson Palmer there are 5-10 Jarmarcus Russell's, Ryan Leaf's, and Gino Smith's.
No one really knows if Wentz will be the next Andrew Luck or just smoke and mirrors who said the right things and looked the part but never catches up to the speed of the NFL after playing in the college minor leagues.

Cowboys 26.02
Rams, the youngest in the NFL is only a year younger 24.92
It's kind of hard to regret something you have no control over. If the Titans are indeed selling the top pick, there's no guarantee the Cowboys would even have the best offer. Regret is usually saved for players you directly passed on.
Trading up wouldn't be my choice. If one of the QBs fall to us OK
Wentz would have to be the next Tom Brady or Manning for us to give up an impact player like Ramsey or Billings and a stud defensive lineman in the second to trade up for. It is possible that Wentz is worth that. But filling two holes is worth a lot.
It's as simple as that.
Yes we may have an all pro corner in Ramsey or a solid at best Defensive end in Bosa but it's going to be hard watching Wentz have success at a high level while our QB is falling apart and asked to do too much because coaching doesn't happen here.
I am so upset to hear that we really aren't interested in QB's and we are more likely to go after a guy like Prescott who doesn't provide immediate help and probably doesn't give us longterm help.
No position effects the game like QB. The NFL is all about the coaching and QB and if we at least have a QB it makes Garrett look like he has a clue.
This will be completely unforgivable if Carson Wentz is a stud. I don't care if our pick turns out well either. You have to grab a QB when the opportunity presents itself.
Also, the fact they coached this guy at the Senior bowl and still didn't make it a priority to go and get him.
I got a bad feeling we're going to restructure Carr, Draft Bosa, reach for Prescott in the 2nd, and there we will be.
I know the draft is a long way away but I just have to get this out of my system.
