Good signing IMO.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports free agent CB Patrick Robinson is expected to sign with the Cowboys.

Robinson is visiting Dallas on Monday. The Cowboys have struck out at corner to this point in free agency, but Robinson would be a solid under-the-radar signing. The Cowboys were interested in Robinson last offseason before he signed with the Chargers.

No offense to you for sharing, but this just sounds like he's speculating and hoping it gives him a jump start on his competition.

Yeah this is just from his tweet earlier than he's visiting today and expected to sign.

Yeah correct read it wrong my bad. Sounds like a done deal on the FAN as well.

Changed the title for now.
Plus...Rapoprt, not exactly the best source, especially with the cowboys this off season.

Goodness Gracious: ROBINSON WOULD BE A HUGE UPGRADE TO THAT ALBATROSS CARR, ESPECIALLY WITH HIS HUGE SALARY. I AM ALL ATWITTER HERE, MATES!

That's cool. I hope that it IS a done deal and allows us to move on from Carr and not be forced to take a defensive back at #4 overall.

Agree I posted a couple of weeks ago Heyward or Robinson is who i preferred at CB...since I struck out with Miller this would bring a smile. Not a fan of Alfred though.

My concern for the "our front office sucks! Woe is us!" posters greatly overshadows my happiness for this signing.

This is a big blow for them. No question about it.

How exactly?

Mike fisher and few other Twitter mediots said they expect both of Robinson and Morris to sign to team friendly deals

Hope they're friendly. Robinson isn't worth more. Morris only makes sense as a goal line type back. While I could easily see him improving his yards per carry in Dallas he is a one dimensional player. I want a run/pass threat out of the backfield at all times.

Agree if they want one dimensional type backs they have two in place and could draft a bama back if they truly in favor of one dysfunctional mutli back philosphy

I'm not either. Can't be excited about a player whose production has steadily dropped over the past four years.

Yeah the more i think about it the more depressing it gets they aren't taking another top RB. I just don't get it this organization has never been a legit team when they haven't taken the bellcow approach.
