I wonder how we would've ranked the QBs if we had the #1 pick. I'm not sure Wentz was at the top of our board.

I would trade next year's 1st to move up to 2 to take him. It's better than next year's first and our entire draft this year. Our second round pick will basically be like a late 1st round pick anyway. We can get Goff and a few good players.

I'm starting to seriously think about it. If that's the going rate and they feel he is the guy? It makes sense. Set yourself up for the next decade.

Rams are going to draft this kid with the 1st overall pick. Why does anyone keep suggesting we can trade up to 2 and have a chance?

next years 1st, our 2nd can get us a 1st round talent, one of these defense lineman are going to fall to us.. if Romo does go down in the middle of the season and Goff is our guy we are in good shape.. which ever qb we draft is going to be treated like a starter just in case Romo does go down.

No trade up please

IMO, the wisdom of trading up can only be judged by those evaluating talent. Fact QB is the single most important position on the field. If the Dallas brain trust feel that either Wentz or Goff can/will develop into front line NFL QBs then the price to move from #4 to #2 is a trifling. Look what Wash gave up to get RGIII. Look what LA gave up to move into the top spot. Compared to those hauls a 2nd this year or a 1st next year is the cheapest deal you're going to get.

Imaging what Dallas would have to pay in 3 years if they HAD to draft Romo's replacement and were sitting in the 13th slot.

When a guys like Brock Ostwiler and K. Cousins are making 20 million a year, it just goes to show you the value that teams place in getting the QB position right. If you're sure about Goff or Wentz you better pay the freight now because you likely won't be in this position again, and at that point the price would increase exponentially.

What rounds were Osweiler and Cousins drafted in again?

Yeah, I'm sure Jerry knows the Rams board.

Kroenkie had Jerry give the presentation to the owners before they voted (Rams needed 28 votes to move).

You think if Jerry picks up the dam phone and says "who yall taking, strictly off the record", that Kroenkie is going to flip off Jerry after he helped him?

Your argument doesn't sound logical..............Jerry did not go out to Cali just for the hell of it. Only logical scenario is that the Rams told Jerry they are taking Wentz and that makes Goff available for maybe a swap trade with Cleveland.
