I would trade next year's 1st to move up to 2 to take him. It's better than next year's first and our entire draft this year. Our second round pick will basically be like a late 1st round pick anyway. We can get Goff and a few good players.
Browns say you can have the 2nd pick..we will take 4 plus
34 or
Next years 1...they don't care..they're happy w either
Which are you parting with?

if jerry wants the qb it will be that way no way he lets them talk him out of it this time.
No trade up please

IMO, the wisdom of trading up can only be judged by those evaluating talent. Fact QB is the single most important position on the field. If the Dallas brain trust feel that either Wentz or Goff can/will develop into front line NFL QBs then the price to move from #4 to #2 is a trifling. Look what Wash gave up to get RGIII. Look what LA gave up to move into the top spot. Compared to those hauls a 2nd this year or a 1st next year is the cheapest deal you're going to get.
Imaging what Dallas would have to pay in 3 years if they HAD to draft Romo's replacement and were sitting in the 13th slot.
When a guys like Brock Ostwiler and K. Cousins are making 20 million a year, it just goes to show you the value that teams place in getting the QB position right. If you're sure about Goff or Wentz you better pay the freight now because you likely won't be in this position again, and at that point the price would increase exponentially.
Yeah, I'm sure Jerry knows the Rams board.
