***Day Three Draft Thread***

If the Raiders jumped up to the top of the 4th round to grab Cook, it has to show that even they thought we were getting ready to pick a qb. For one, we didnt grab a QB there but waited to the end of the 4th rd to grab a better QB IMO

not bad

Well, right now behind Tony we have a guy who has never won a game and a guy who has never played a game.

I heard Seattle has one QB on their roster right now. After Russell Wilson, nothing. Not even a camp arm.

For QB, I'd rather Dallas picked Hogan. Hopefully Dak develops.

If you weren't watching why do you continue to comment about something you know nothing about? I saw it with my own eyes.

I didn't say I wasn't watching. I said there's no chance they didn't have that pick ready in advance. None.

Your interpretation of what might have gone down re a trade might even be accurate. That wouldn't be a team panicking. It would be a technical difficulty when they were on the clock. Either way, they knew who they were taking with Ogbah and Dodd off the board. A team not getting a trade done in time is nothing remotely exceptional. You're complaining about a triviality when what's really going on is that you don't like the pick.

And I didn't like the pick, either.

To me....reminds me of a poor man's Russel Wilson....

I hope your right and I think you might be. He had a very good college career and pre-Tebow probably would have went in the 2nd round, Tebow just worries a lot of people. Still though he has a lot of intangibles and I think once he learns to be more of an NFL QB he will be fine.

We need Romo's eventual replacement.

Prescott isn't it.

Debatable. Pick a quarterback every year.
We need a guy to hold down the fort in case of injury. We draft guys every year.

Dak!!!!!! The board meltdown will be epic!

I am not upset at all. I fully expected this total waste of a draft pick and I hope he don't hang around long enough that it prevents the team from getting a top prospect to replace Romo next year. I think they will waste a year or two with him as an excuse not to draft another QB though.

Here's the last ten years worth of 4th round picks for us. Outside of Doug Free, none of these guys have really panned out so not sure why people are in such a funk.

2015 - Damien Wilson
2014 - Anthony Hitchens
2013 - BW Webb
2012 - Kyle Wilbur, Matt Johnson
2011 - David Arkin
2010 - Akwasi Owusu-Ansah
2009 - Stephen McGee, Victor Butler, Brandon Williams
2008 - Tashard Choice
2007 - Isaiah Stanback, Doug Free
2006 - Skyler Green
