Not sure if it was that podcast, but the word is Butler's skillset is very much appreciated by Romo and he could see a lot of snaps at WR.

While I'll be hoping that Morris Claiborne has a breakout season, I doubt he'll be able to stay healthy and put everything together. But this is the first off-season where Mo focused on playing football instead of rehabbing an injury (his return last year from bilateral patellar tendon surgery was mind boggling).

Claiborne is in the best physical shape of his NFL career, but it remains to be seen if it will show up in his game on the field.

Will he be physical at the line?

Will he engage and shed WRs on running plays to force the action back inside?

Will he tackle running backs?

Mo is not only playing for a new contract, he also wants to silence the media from commenting on his being an injury-prone draft bust.

Brice Butler will be an interesting player to watch.

As BTB mentioned, he's got the size, speed, jersey number and balky hamstring to justify the Miles Austin comparison.

I agree with the point they hit on about Butler's prospects coming down to establishing a rapport with Tony Romo. If #9 likes and trusts a player, it will lead to increased snaps for the prospect.

The coaches like Terrance Williams, Butler will have to stay healthy and impress Romo if he wants a steady role on offense.

I feel like we've been through this before but, we can discuss this as much as you'd like.

We drafted fourth because we lost our starting QB, starting wideout, and starting number one corner for the season. If you don't realize that had a huge impact on our season then you're in denial.:) Or you're damaged from this terrible time we've had for most of 18 years. That's understandable but, it's over.

We are a very good team. Enjoy

I enjoy OTA and training camp reports but rarely do I see players who get crazy hype ever really do anything that great.

Dez Bryant is one of the few guys that actually lived up to the TC hype and for every Dez Bryant there are 5 absolutely unguardable Cole Beasleys who never live up to their TC hype.

A very good team doesn't become a contender for the first pick in the draft with the loss of three players. Even their QB being one of them.

We have clear evidence it can and did. The year before we were 13-5 and two games away from the Super Bowl.

Well let's look at this list, Rowdy.

The 2005 Bengals lost their QB in the playoffs. So this doesn't apply.

The 2014 Bengals, 1993 Dolphins didn't turn into one of the worst teams in the league.

I didn't realize the 2005 Jets, 2012 Commanders, 2010 Cowboys, 1999 49ers and 2011 Colts were stacked teams.

The 2008 Patriots, an actual stacked team, went 11-5 without their QB.

I guess the one example on that competlely irrelevant list you cling to might be the 2003 Falcons and even that's a stretch.

No quality "stacked" team turns into a team competing for the 1st pick in the draft by losing their QB, lead WR and a slot CB. That's complete and total fan nonsense. You have other issues on your roster for that to happen.

Our talent has always been very overrated.
