What you need is a game app that let's you chase around people who are chasing around virtual characters :D Of course bad people would exploit but I can see you shouting out, "AHA! Caught another one!"
 
Actually, I think it would be funny if someone created a game app that was the virtual version of "Get off my lawn!" That way, when you see pokemon chasers come into your area (not just a yard), they would see your avatar on their screen yell, "GET OFF MY LAWN!" and all pokemon characters around you would scatter and leave :D

It would add an extra element to the game :)

actually, i told one of my co-workers if they'd just remove the comic characters and put in like strippers, lingerie models and the like, think what their audience would do then. :)

but as i figured, you are now seeing people trespass onto private property in order to get whatever the heck it is they're looking for. can you imagine being in the situation of being in jail for getting into a fight because someone was chasing squirtel into their yard? now be the officer that has to write all that up.

man, the police report full of pokemon names.

You know the copy-cat apps are coming and I'm sure there will be options for all ages and types of people :D

The two things that worried me when I first heard about the game was bad people using this to catch players who are not paying attention as well as people getting shot for trespassing where they should not be. The former is already making the news. I really hope the latter never happens.

I wonder if the lady will be charged with anything as the article made it sound as if he wasn't actually in the house.


There are quite a few people playing this where I live and {oddly?} they seem to be mostly hipsters. Maybe there will be more sightings in the middle of the interstate or the lake........
 
I honestly haven't seen anyone playing this yet. I live in downtown Seattle which is white hipster capitol. Maybe I have and just haven't noticed. I've gotten used to people staring at their phones anyway.

If you were never into Pokemon originally, of course you're not going to "understand" this. Though there really isn't much to understand...

You get an app, you catch Pokemon. It's either for you or it's not.
 
When this thing hits Japan, it's going to look like the world is ending.
 
Has anyone rang your doorbell and asked if they can come inside your home to get the Pokemon thing?o_O
