I love Irving in his second season. I think he is really, really talented and just scratching the surface of what he can do.
____________

“It’s a great opportunity to play for the Dallas Cowboys and represent the star, and the fans. You’ve got to love the fans coming out and supporting us like this, whether it be training camp, home games, away games,” Irving said. “I mean, everywhere we go there are fans waiting to support us. That makes you want to work that much harder. There is no doubt this is the best team to play for in the NFL.

im going to say charles tapper is the guy who changes this front 4 for dallas. this guy wouldve been a round 1 talent if he played anywhere else but oklahoma, their scheme costed this kid millions

Irving arriving in a big way would be huge. He seems to have the physical potential to be a monster. <Cross Fingers>

For all the doom and gloom about the DL there are pieces there. Just need to stay healthy and produce. If it does its light years ahead of what we rolled out in 2014

I'm hoping you're both right - then Lawrence gets back!

They really need somebody to break out. This dl looks horrible for this season!

Gotta love the first week of camp. Irving is gonna be a break out player, Claiborne is dominating, Alfred Morris looks like he could run for 2,000 years, etc.

Just get me to the first preseason game, at least, before the hype train starts rolling out of the station.

I was talking to Irving Saturday after training camp practice. He autographed my football and we were discussing the season. He said his goal is 8 sacks and he's shooting hard for it. I would love for his prediction to come true.

I agree the issue is depth. Between injury and suspensions we are razor thin along the DL. While these guys are showing some promise in camp it is still just camp.

We have opportunities for guys to step up. Make it happen fellas!

I agree Irving could break out. Am also excited to see what Tapper & Russell can do.

Another positive, is that it was reported McClain & Thornton showed well vs. Martin, Fred-beard, & Collins.

Maybe the combo of Irving and Tapper is what this DL needs as both can have a very good impact.

Think about what this line could have been -- Lawrence, Crawford, Thornton, Gregory, Tapper, Irving, all young, all with massive potential. With that said, I'm very excited about Tapper and Irving myself -- this defense might surprise, especially since we're getting back to run-oriented offense.

The upgrade from Hayden to Thornton is fantastic.
