Is that enough clickbait phrases? Ha!

Truthfully though, I didn't think any backup QB was worth going after, but Michael Vick was mentioned as a possibility, and I'll be honest, I like the idea.

He outperformed all our backups in the W department. He could salvage a game if Romo is out for a short time. I mean what's not to like?

Oh yeah, the media will hate it. Trouble. So what? He's matured enough that he's willing to be a backup. Even if he only flashes his previous talent occassionally, Dallas will win games with him. It's not like Showers and Prescott are both making the 53 man squad.

Do it.

Why? There is no way I want Vick. He is s horrible QB. Have you not seen his performances last year and his last in Philly. Absolutely not!

I would rather just let Dak take the lumps because I think it wouldn't make a difference.

I am to the point I don't care, it doesn't matter. It will be what it will be.
Maybe tony stays healthy and plays the entire season, so the back up will be a mute point.

Vick has done something Showers and Prescott havent, win games at the NFL level. He isnt the progress stopper a younger QB like Glennon would be, simply a vet to hold the fort for a year in case of emergency. Signing him for cheap beats trading assets for a guy who has spent his whole career looking the part instead of actually doing it.

This.

Romo or bust. If he has to miss a couple of games, hopefully Dallas can steal one of them. If Romo is out for an extended time, what difference does it make?

Backups are not worth the energy to worry about.

This is where missing out on Connor Cook comes in. He might be a rookie nut Michigan state ran a pro style offense not spread offense like Mississippi state.

He has reportedly looked like trash so far.

Showers is leaps and bounds ahead of Dak at this point.

Reading and hearing that he had a great offseason.

If that's the case then Dak must be awful. Showers couldn't hit the broad side of a barn in college!

I like the idea enough to bring him in for a workout with no guarantees. See what he looks like in a workout and a physical, then decide.

I just don't think Vick will win us any games over another backup at this point in his career.
probably get tarred and feathered in these parts for the suggestion but I'd rather go with Tebow. He's definitely the RKG, I believe he's mentioned he'd play if called upon and has had success, in limited opportunities, in the NFL. Okay, I will duck now! :)

I fully endorse bringing in Michael Vick.

I mean, he is just unbelievable.

After much serious thought I think Glennon would be my first choice if we could make a player for player trade

Second choice is to let Dak be the number 2 and Design a lot of scrambling plays
