Are you trolling? He was the best defensive player during the 12-4 season.

No that would have been Scandrick. Are you claiming that Crawford had a great year in 2014? Based on what? Did he make the pro bowl? I dont recall that. And being the best player on a middling defense doesnt impress me. And he wasnt even that.

His history makes him injury prone. Love his spunk and toughness, but that has seemed to lead to him getting inured a lot. Very physical, searching out contact and not going down for every inch. Like it, but not always smart. Emmitt used to know how to avoid the big hits. Dez doesnt seem smart enough for that. Just sayin

Save for last year, where he broke a bone, he played all 16 games in the previous three seasons and only missed on e game in 2011. Not injury prone.

Again this isn't hard to figure out. Studies show that once you get a concussion history, you are more likely to get another concussion than someone who has not. The fact there were 182 concussions reported last year is fairly meaningless because it doesn't change the recurring concussion problem.

So that's why it's a concern. Our star WR now has a concussion history.

No, his career isn't over. But the fact he now has a reported concussion is a cause for some concern going forward because the next concussion is more likely now, and if he does get one, there is some evidence that subsequent concussions can actually have bigger side effects than the previous ones.

OK, I can see that point. However, I would venture that most NFL players have a concussion history, so my concern is mitigated by the fact that it is a commonality.

Injury prone of late. Sound a little more accurate to you? And he does typically play, but is hobbled by something. Tough guy not always at 100%.

Huge opportunity for Brice Butler to get a lot of run with the 1's

Should be interesting to see. Butler played pretty well when given the chance to start last year opposite of Williams, and I'm curious to see those two lining up outside with Romo running the show (however briefly). I hope Elliott is going to play as well.

Not really. I don't count breaking bones towards an injury prone determination, nor do I concussions. These things bad luck, not some sort of recurring situation. You may be able to make a case for his back spasms, but I don't think he ever missed a game from them.

No one said he's definitely not OK, as if he can't play again or has to sit out a huge chunk of the season.

What was said is that a concussion is a concern going forward given factors such as he's now more likely to get another one and the effects of another one could be greater. That's just the reality of the situation now.

Concussions aren't like ingrown toenails.

Yes, ingrown toenails can be worse. Just ask Lawrence Tynes.

The former NFL kicker Lawrence Tynes is suing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers accusing them of unsanitary conditions that led to a MRSA infection that he says ended his career.

The 36-year-old is seeking $20million in lost future earnings and $15,000 in damages after he contracted the deadly infection in 2013 following a surgery on an ingrown toenail, according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network.

The lawsuit was announced on Monday and alleges that the Buccaneers 'failed to disclose and actively concealed ongoing incidents of the infection among other individuals' who used team's facilities, according to ESPN.

I was looking forward to seeing the whole offense together for a quarter, but it can wait.
Not sure Tyron is back anyway.

Good opportunity for Butler, but that's a great secondary.
That Hail Mary like, long ball from last week would have been picked by these guys.
Then again, we probably wouldn't have tried it due to the different coverages. Hind site...

Just hoping everyone gets some great reps this week.
The coaching staff has two weeks to pick a team.
