I dont think Dez is a top 5 receiver, maybe not even top 10. Im going to post the number of 100 yard games some of his peers have had since entering the league compared to Dez.

Since 2010 Dez: 13 100 yard games

Since 2014 Odell Beckham: 15

Since 2010 Antonio Brown: 25

Since 2011 Aj Green: 24

Since 2011 Julio Jones: 28

Make of it what you want, but I dont think Dez is as big a game changer as those guys

Dez, when he is on, is the top redzone WR in the NFL.

He has never been top 5 between the 20's. He's a big body type with average speed and just isn't able to make himself open consistently enough.

Having said that, he was still top 10 between the 20's from 2012-2014.

Now, I'm not so sure. Hoping to see him have a big game next week.

Just to throw in an older guy, Boldin has had 11 100 yard games since 2010.

Why don't you post all their TD catches?

Our offense doesn't do anything to get Dez involved. Look at the routes he's running. They are go routes and crap like that. I think we have one of the dumbest coaching Staff in the nfl.

Julio Jones isn't that fast either. But look how they line him up and what routes he runs. Crossing,posts,slants..motion.

My working theory is that since Beasley has proven to be very good in the slot and working the short routes, the Cowboys have transferred that role to him from Dez. There's some logic to it--Dez would be probably a little better in that role, but whoever replaced him on the outside would be worse, so if the strategy is to get the best guys on the field giving Beas those routes makes some sense. But if it means our best talent at WR is rendered irrelevant as has been the case last year and today, it's probably past time to reconsider.

Exactly. Those guys get three times the amount of passes thrown to them. Plus their coaches get them in space

I want to know how many targets all these guys get vs Dez. Our coaching staff takes Dez out of games more so than opposing defenses sometimes by not throwing to him because he is double covered. "Taking what the defense gives us" instead of taking what we want to take.

Julio isn't fast haha, look what he ran in the 40 with a broken foot

I'm amazed at the lack of respect Dez gets on this forum.. does anyone remember what our offense looked like WITHOUT him last season?

But the "Dez disappeared tonight" complaint has been an ongoing one for quite a while. This is nothing new. For such a physically imposing player and such a prolific touchdown scorer, it's nothing short of shocking to witness.

He has done nothing since getting paid and hes unclutch.

I dont want to hear bs about the routes he runs, because hes had great seasons before (2013). With a rookie QB, you want your supposed elite WR to help him out more than Dez did today...
