Tyrone Crawford post game comments alarming

Players probably not believing in the process after they play as hard as they can and we still lose.

Good thing we won.. We can always depend on Washington to get us back on the right track. I wish we played the 16 times a year.
We'd manage to still be 8-8

When did anyone here call Crawford a special player? I don't recall ever seeing that said one time.

As for his comments...meh. I don't put to much stock into what Crawford thinks.

No offense to the OP, but this is much ado about nothing. I think too much is being read into the word "relax." I know I relaxed after the first win in I don't know how long. The players will get back to work immediately. Part of Garrett's process is to let the last game go and move on to the next.

I had high hopes for him. He's a good player not great. Getting double teamed he's M.I.A, he did have a sack to basically close out the game. but than the defense screwed it up. For what he said tho.. we have all been feeling that. These coaches are horrible. Onside kick when your winning? LOL .

He said what the fans who are now bashing him would have said instead if we'd lost the game and started the season 0-2.

Everybody hating on Crawford forget to realize Marinelli is literally telling them to go out there in what looks to be a basic *** defense series after series after series. Thats 4 vs 5 linemen and a rb blocking. And we have no rotation to speak of so they are gassed out there.

I don't have a problem with his comment. Winning builds confidence and this team needed a big boost of confidence and they got that from this game. It was a hard fought game as they usually are when playing division rivals and despite less than stellar play they were able to fight hard to the end and pull out this win.

The comments do not bother me at all.
1. You lose all those games last year, lose Tony goes down again and start 0-2 versus division rivals? Yea, the same Zone members calling him weak would be posting about the draft this week.
2. He made a big play (OK his only big play) when it truly mattered.
3. Dallas may well be playing him out of position and giving him zero help because we can't identify and draft DL. Who else deserves attention along the DL?
4. He's been a great team guy and posts nothing but positivity week after week on social media.
5. If Jason Witten said this, the fan base would all swoon with manlove.

And he is playing with 3 career back ups along side him.

Not like he has Ware and Von Miller on the outside.

Fish rots from the head down, we have a weak owner, which leads to a weak coach, which leads to a weak team.

I have a hard time tearing someone down for comments they have made right after the game. His comments weren't bad. Like others have said,i'm more concerned with his play. Hopefully he builds on his play this week and starts to play more consistent.

It seems like year in and year out we have a excuse for Tyrone. Either he has a nagging injury, simply hurt and can't raise his arms or learning a new position. Now its he doesn't have people around him on the line. Which seems like a decent excuse but let's be clear on what he is at this point and that's a JAG. He needs far too much around him to be successful. I'm hoping once Gregory and Lawrence come back or just even Lawrence that it will do wonders for him. It will at least increase our depth on the line.

Thats exactly it. The best defenses have depth and constantly rotate to keep guys fresh. Von Miller gets 1-2 series then he's out and they bring in Shane Ray or someone else. Same with Ware. They are always fresh. Our guys are hitting a wall rushing 4 all game. No wonder they look the way they do. You try and run into a wall for 4 quarters and see how it feels.

I find his comments disturbing for the very reason you highlighted.
Which team did we beat last year to stop a losing skid? That's right, the Washington Commanders, our perennial punching bags.

The real test is going to be next week because we play at home and an opponent not in our division and not named the Washington Commanders. What if we lose to the Bears?

I'm kind of disturbed that this team was on the brink of a breakdown if it had lost. What's going to happen if we lose next week? Is the team going to pack it in thinking we can't beat any team but the Commanders?

And what does he mean by relax? I'm concerned by his comments about the team's psyche.

On the win:

"This loss would have torn us apart. We definitely needed this. It would have really torn us apart as a team, mentally. Good thing we got this and now we can kind of relax. Now we can move on to the next game this week."

This dude is weak. Lawrence and Gregory must save us this year.

I agree with him. And no doubt it would have ruined 90% of the fans base as well.
