You all realize we only beat Chicago right?

Well it's obvious from the posts most of y'all just read the title and not my post. Enjoy the win, I know I am especially after last year. Enjoy the fact that we have found our future with Dak and Zeke. Enjoy the fact the we have a legit shot at the playoffs and the season has promise. All I was trying to say was Chicago is a very bad team and the Super Bowl run and Dak over Romo posts just tap on the brakes.

You do realize we are most recently a 4-12 team. That is our reality. You do realize that we just witnessed Matt Cassell, Brandon Weeden and broken up/less than stellar tony Romo last year? You do realize that we haven't won a home game in over a year? We've created a turnover in every game thus far. It's called progress and optimism. A lot should be said of beating a team you should and winning the turnover battle.

These are all good points, but the main takeaway is that the bears are not the Seahawks and Chicago is in Illinois not Washington.

Just to reiterate, the team we played yesterday was not in fact the Seattle Seahawks. More as the story develops

Don't recall anyone on here making out the Bears to be the Seahawks.

I am proud of this teams performance yesterday but I don't think most of you realize how bad Chicago is. With the injuries they have they'll be competing with Clevland for the #1 pick. I'm usually not the debbie downer guy and I am proud of how this team performed but I expected this team to win yesterday. I mean if the game was close yesterday then I'd really be worried. Some of the posts I'm reading on here are the same as when we beat Seatle back in 2014. The real test for this team will be weeks 5 and 6 when we play Cincinnati and Green Bay but until then hold back on the Super Bowl runs and Dak over Romo conversations.

Go tell this to all the teams that beat us with all oour injuries in previous seasons. And especially last year of not having Tony or Dez...oh, you only beat Dallas without a QB or WR, and their RB was gone too. See how they feel or respond, as well as their fans.

I get what you're saying but the point is, WE are not a very good team. We all know the injuries last year but good teams still show better. We have "talent" but let's not take anything for granted.

The reason I said Seattle was because the posts I read were the same as when we beat Seattle in 2014 which is when I think we it really hit us all that we had a legit shot at winning it all.

Exactly, we were a 4-12 team, with no hope at QB behind Romo. We have a rookie that is playing lights out and is giving fans a reason to be excited. We can be happy about a win without throwing out dumb statements like "Dak is taking us to the Super Bowl!"

They beat the team that they were scheduled to play. What else are the supposed to do? Next week it's the niners, who don't look like a good team, but they are the team the Cowboys are scheduled to play. Banking wins is a good thing, regardless of who it is you beat.

Thanks for coming here to try and make sure fans are not too happy with their Sunday.
We can't have cowboys fans being optimistic or excited after a win. That would fly in the face of why we spend so much time watching and following our favorite football team....to be entertained...

Look man., I'm sorry you are not enjoying this form of entertainment as much as some.
But why try to rain on others parade?

Lighten up and enjoy the ride. You never know how many more rides you will get.
