If I went into this thread not knowing what it was about, I would think Dez Bryant was caught in a police chase driving a stolen Lamborghini filled with meth based on the responses.

So you have no issues with this behavior from him?

Sure, other than the fact that he's getting paid $70 million to do it, it's quite noble.

How dare anybody take issue for a player who think he can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants.

Oh..I didn't realize playing with a broken bone was in his contract. He needs a new agent.

I didn't realize Dez thought he could do whatever he wants whenever he wants to do it. I guess you know what he thinks now. Forget about all of his actual actions...you read a reporter speculation and assumed it was true because it fit into your negative perception of Dez. Gotcha.

Well this is disappointing.

Given the jerry interview Tuesday this kind of feels like he answers to Jerry and is one of those guys. I thought he wasn't with the way he talked about Garrett in the past.

Bummer.

Yes, a real bummer.

But another example of the broken culture in Dallas.

and now our nice peaceful football season will be upended by the local media and nationally with nonsense about this 24/7.

It is only that way because Jerry Jones would not have it any other way.

We are not like every other team. This is publicity. And it is treated as a positive.

Sadly, that probably carries over the field more than people are willing to admit.

Not sure I can take another season of this type of thing. This is supposed to be enjoyable, I enjoy the game and the team and even the losses are enjoyable to an extent, but this type of stuff and the reaction and fall out of just makes me want to not give a damn.

I hope we are not 2-4 on October 30th when Dez and Romo return. there will be no room for errors with tough games against philly, Minnesota, New York and Baltimore coming up.

But aren't you entertained? That is great drama.

At the end of the day, is there any proof of this? Or is this another video saga?
These people don't care about proof...they jump on the first story that confirms their hatred and suddenly Dez needs to be traded. They call him lazy, immature, Diva, selfish, stupid, blah blah blah.

Sounds like we have many fans that would fall into this "Diva" category.

Jane slater also said players said that couldn't get ahold of him. So that means players, Dez's teammates are ratting him out to the vultures outside the door who are not supposed to be a distraction.

They are openly inviting distraction and problems by using the media to try and get through to him so something is certainly up.

This is no different than the Commanders players going to the local reporters in DC and running their mouth's about cousins. They brought that crap on their team for no reason. just like the Dallas players did here. None of us need to know this stuff and anyone who has played here for five seconds should know if you do anything here the whole world descends on the team and makes a big deal out of it.

Now because of Dez, they gave them a reason to stir something up. It sucks that dez would pull this at this point and that the players would rat on him like this. It flat out stinks.

I'm sorry, when did he realize that he had one? Oh, that's right, after he actually showed up to work!

Oh, please, by all means, give us your version of what actually happened. I mean, since you apparently know and know that the reporter is lying?

Go right ahead, we're all ears...

I wonder why La'el Collins did not just decide to drop off the grid for a couple of days.

Not really true, I like Dez and thought he had grown up a lot during that 14 season and he handled himself really well last year in a difficult situation with the injury and qb's.

This is a step backward. Its a lack of respect for his teammates and coaches. Even if it is just him sulking over another injury he can not do that.

Let me guess....unnamed sources?
This is a common BS journalism tactic. They make crap up, and hide behind unnamed sources. Hey it's good for their careers. It gets their names out.

Read these threads today and look at what fans have said about Dez. What I said is totally true. It's one thing to assume this minor story is true and be disappointed in Dez...it's much different to hear this story and suddenly rip Dez apart as being immature, lazy, Diva, selfish, ect...
This is a small story that allowed some fans to justify their hatred of Dez.

Been nothing but bad since he signed that contract.

Yep. I said the day they signed him that it was a colossal blunder. Should have tagged him for two years and then dumped him. It's what the Patriots would do with a dope like this guy. He's all but done. That knee is compromised and he's got ALL the money he needs. (until he blows it all that is) Just another colossal waste of money by JJ. The NFL's worst GM strikes again.

Probably true in a lot of cases. If JJT or Clarence hill reported this I would be skeptical, I am not a fan of Jane Slater honestly either.

David Moore however is not in that category. He is a good guy and never takes these types of angles with stuff and has pretty much always spoke highly of dez even in his troubled times. He just reports the facts like Todd Archer. So I fail to see the agenda David Moore would be playing to.

again, they both cited players in the locker room telling them what Dez has done, that strikes me as someone in their trying to get through to him.

Between, issues, injuries, and $70 million, there's no way.
Whatever, hater.

He is elite.

And there is not a GM in the league who would not look at the fact he has basically had to have his bottom powdered by the owner since he came into the league as a negative.

Randy Moss was 100X the player Bryant is, or ever has been. And he got dumped, more than once.

That's not how this works.
It's up to whoever created this story to prove it.
Is this how you live your life? You just believe anything you hear I guess without needing any proof.
That's what I figured.
