Good lord. This poll just shows how many Romo homers are here. I seriously hope Dak can lead us to victory these next 2 games so he can remain the starter. He is better than Romo and gives us the best chancd to win. I see us beating a tough Bengals team in a close game. It will be Dak's toughest game to date but I doubt we can beat the Packers. Rodgers will dominate our defense. Same as if Romo was in there.

Unless something happens in the next 3 weeks that sets Romo back, he's the starter. Even if we win CIN and GB, he's the starter. Gets injured again? Dak comes in until Romo is healthy. Romo will then start next year.

While Dak has looked good, I'm sorry, there is a time when the kid needs to start taking shots down the field like a big boy QB. This isn't Miss. State.

Why? If it's not there, why force it just for the sake of throwing the deep ball?

The team has stuck with what they do best - ground and pound, move the chains football. Dak isn't recklessly slinging it around the field, he's going through his progressions and finding the open receiver. I have no doubt that Dak can make the deep throws when the time warrants them, but he's playing good football now and he's not turning the ball over.

I thought it would be less than that, but I guess it's just a very vocal minority making it seem that way.

You dont play someone because you feel sorry for him. You play your best 11. Romo is a way above average QB, bordering on great. When totally healthy, hes the man.

I love Dak and am totally confident he can lead the boys. But this is Romos team and he deserves to regain his job when healthy. If he loses while healthy, more power to Dak. But you dance with the one who brung you and thats Romo till proven otherwise. He has to lose the job and if he does, I have no problem with turning the reigns over to Dakota. If Romo steps in and picks up where he left off in 2014, were a better team for it, truth be told.

I think people have a misrepresentation of Romo in their mind. He is going to be rusty as hell. Remember his first game against SF in 2014? Remember his game against Carolina last year? He hasn't had a ton of significant snaps since 2014. It might take him 2 games just to get back to being Romo again.

It really depends on these next 2 games. If we win both its not even a question, if we go 1-1 and Dak isn't the reason we lose I probably still stick with him. Now, if we lose both it sets up the perfect comeback story for Romo to try and save the season.

You have to throw out sentiment and even loyalty in scenarios like this. It's not like we are talking about some mediocre vet who is just managing to keep his head above water. We are talking about a kid who is looking more and more like the franchise QB for possibly the next decade. Sorry Romo, it's been fun and you've been great to us, but it's just that time...
