I voted Dak because I don't think Romo will really be healthy when they tell us he is.

Lol. Romo is stealing money at this rate and will be just fine if he never played another game here.

Why are you worried about his "legacy"? Colts sure weren't when Manning went down with his injury. They got Luck and never looked back. Fans think with their hearts way too much. We are suppose to appease Romo because you want him to end on a high note? Meh. He's not the best QB for this team anymore. The last 3 hits he has taken, he's been hurt and hurt bad. Hasn't played a full season since 2012.

People are putting him on this pedestal like he has actually accomplished a lot here and deserves the benefit of the doubt. It is baffling.

Maybe the nation's perception that Cowboy fans are delusional is coming to fruition for me.

This has got to be the most realest post I've read on here in a while.

I literally said the same thing about a week ago, about how other fans look at us. Looking at it, they are not wrong. I only refused to accept it at first because I didn't want to think of my fellow fans in that light.

Actually, only 25% that know their stuff. This is how it works in the real world too.

the 25 percent including Jimmy Johnson who I think tends to know a little bit about the game. To act as if your view is the only view and all others do not know their stuff is laughable.

I'm excited about Dak and feel the future looks brighter because of him and Zeke, however if Romo gives this team even more offensive fire power which Johnson and others feel he can then the object is to put the best player out there.

I have no problem pulling Romo should he not be able to play to a higher level.

Something I really took notice of when listening to Dez being mic'd up. He ran to the sideline and was talking to Derek Dooley and telling him how he has been open and Derek responded with "Yeah, I know, I told him"

Dak is simply not seeing the field fully yet. He's especially not seeing down field. He also isn't trusting himself hitting one of one coverage if the coverage is tight, and I think this has to do with him not believing in his arm strength.

If you got Dez one on one down the field, you have to take the shot. I also find it hard to believe Williams hasn't found a way to get open on a post route, does this seem to only happen when Romo is the game? Doubtful.

Again, it's time for Dak to start making the big boy throws. It's not college anymore and this offensive gameplay, while it has been great to put our rookie in a position to win, isn't going to work all year.

Romo is 1 hit away from being retired. Whether he gets his job back or not Dak will finish the season
Totally disagree... you don't lose your job due to injury.... Romo is a tier above Dak at this point...wait until Dak starts seeing something other then vanilla defences

If he returns and suffers another significant injury his career will end on a bad note. I don't see his career ending on a good note, he'll either lose his job to Dak or have to retire due to his health.
What if they get into the playoffs and something special happens...you never know

Romo needs to start. Dont want his career to end here on a bad note

In a selfish way. Yes, I want it for Romo.
One last shot at the title.

Romo deserves to start and should be given the benefit of the doubt if he doesn't play great his first 2 games back

after that I'm all for going back to the Dak attack

I'm ok with the former.
Not the latter. If you bring him back. He gets the right to finish the season.

The more film teams get on Dak the more they will make him do the things that he does not like to do, they cannot fool Romo, Dak will continue to learn and his learning curve will grow by leaps and bounds once he stands on the sideline and watch the master run the offense

On the noses. He is short pass king right now.
He will have to grow into a complete QB. It won't happen in 14-16 games.

He can wait one year. Less actually.

Go with the healthy 10 year veteran who's seen it all or with the rookie who's still learning and seeing it for the first time?

IF Romo is healthy and he's back to the Romo of 2014, why are we even debating this?

If we make the playoffs and something special happens it will be with Dak. Romo will be in no condition physically for anything special to happen with him this season. He's missed too many games and is coming off a broken back.

lol. Tony Romo has won absolutely nothing in 11 years. Nothing. Its time finally to move on from his overhyped grossly disappointing QB.

Seven pages and still counting........

Bottom line: This is a fluid situation with many variables. We will have a more clear picture after the GB game. Dak could absolutely struggle the next two games and everyone will be begging for Romo to return to have a chance at the powerhouse Eagles :D

He could get us two victories(play great) or even just one win while playing mediocre......we do not know yet.

I voted Romo. Listen, Dak isn't going anywhere. Let's see how Tony does, and if we get 2014 Romo, let's roll with him into the postseason. If Romo comes in here and the level of play slips, the Cowboys have to put Prescott in there and let the future be now.

Dak!

I dunna understand fans so concerned with Romo's legacy.
It's a question of what is best for the team, not a millionaire's ego.
