Speculating on Tony Romo's trade value **merged**

that is the wrong move, Dallas is horrible at picking up late blitzers, and that is what gets tony hurt every time.
If I was tony I wouldnt play this year and would want a trade.
Tony has more value than you might think. Any contract he does can have clauses to cover injurys.
It is a gamble with any player.
The Jets would be a SB contender with Tony.
Interesting. Maybe, but Tony doesn't have a great reputation when it counts. Two wild card wins in 11 yrs is not a great trading point for a SB contender.

I don't just make stuff up. 99.9% of my posts deal with FACTS. Some folks just don't like the FACTS. This was about some people in the national media saying Jerry Jones has moved on from Tony Romo.

Don't eat the cheese Idgit!!! Don't take the bait!

Honestly, I thought this would probably be one where I'd ask, he wouldn't answer, and people would conclude he's making it up.

But he'll probably come back and reference a radio show that may or may not have ever happened and leave us nowhere. :(

I doubt any. I'm pretty sure his experience would come in handy against the next few opponents...

But Dak should make us hopeful.

"Let it bake" haha "Tap the brakes" some Cowboys announcer said after the first preseason game. I said "hit the accelerator." Here we are after he has played 7 games and has lit it up EVERY SINGLE game. I have been 100% right on Dak since the beginning and will continue to be right.

Obviously more people are on board now... Thanks for sharing the video.

It is also funny hearing some people in the Cowboys camp now saying it is Dez and Zeke's leadership that is responsible for everything being "different" this year. Clueless people... Poor Romo fans.

I think Tony should retire after the season. If not he should be traded IMO. He simply cant be counted on anymore

He's not trying to give Dak any credit here, just being his usual blowhard narcissistic self when he says stuff like, "I don't think Dak will every be as good as Romo". He hates that the Cowboys are playing well, and it shows.

And if he comes back and play the rest of the season with no issues and he looks like Tony?
Well, if he looks like Tony, we have about an 8% chance of winning a playoff game. I don't think we should settle for those type of odds.

Tony's contract is very team friendly for a trade.....he is due 3/44m with 0 money guaranteed

His 2017 salary is 14m or just about what Ryan Fitzpatrick got

DAL even saves 5m on the cap if they trade him and will have no dead money to carry forward after 2017

He would fetch at least a 1st and probably multiple picks
I was talking about some other team taking on his deal. Sorry for the confusion.

8%, can you share the equation you used to come up with that number?

Anyone dumb enough to give us anything, we should jump on it.
It won't happen.

I really don't understand why this is even something people think might happen.

There are a myriad of reasons why not.

I guess some people feel it is important to start threads with hot takes that are actually ice cold.

Yes but how much could we get for Romo?

STOOOOOOOOPPPPPP!!!!! Why can't fans just enjoy the moment? Four games into the season and yall are in love with a kid who has yet to play a bad game. The NFL isn't easy and Dak is going to struggle at some point in the next few weeks. Imagine if we had traded Leary.
