Lol. Dez thanked somebody for having his back. Why in the world would he need to _not_ do that? Seriously, who do you guys think you are to even suggest it?
Somebody attacks him in the media for the sole purpose of getting attention off of Dez' name, another media member thanks him, and Dez says 'thanks, dude. That guy's kind of a jerk, anyway' and it spawns a string of idiotic comments about Dez needing to be muzzled and 'gee doesn't he look thuggish wearing his sweats to a football game'. All of this garbage gets rolled up over time into a giant ball of irrational garbage, and then you guys try to throw that at Dez, too, as if he's the problem.
Dez is not the problem. Skip Bayless, spouting horse manure is the problem. You guys, swallowing the manure and stinking up the forum with the regurgitation of it is the problem. Dez is a dude who's wound up incredibly tightly emotionally who wants to work hard, be a good teammate, and win football games. When he actually crosses a line: a substance abuse violation, and arrest, whatever, come back and complain about it some more and I'll agree you've got a point. I'm not going to hear it just because you don't like something he tweeted or think it's 'classier' for a sweatshirt to have sleeves.

Lol how pedantic
Ok, here:
In my opinion Dez Bryant would help His football playing career if he made more news for his football playing.
By that I mean he got himself in an Unwinnable Twitter spat with like an admitted instigator troll. One Who has nothing good in mind for you when he invokes your name. So now what Dez has done is made an enemy out of someone who likes drama and likes his name in the news. Which further exacerbates the Dez Bryant is a bad character teammate narrative. One that has a vicious cycle that we've seen by the media machine. Consisting of in no particular order: create controversy, have player comment on contrived controversy, player gets frustrated and lashes out at questions. Players lash out is now the news story.
So in my saying Dez Bryant should avoid this negative momentum I want the dallas Cowboys to be a better and more focused football team. You may say the idea of Dez Bryant being a distraction is overrated and hasn't been proven in team results. However I say one should always try to stack good days on top of good days. Making yourself a bigger target for opponents and the media isn't a good thing. Engaging with skip bay less automatically makes it a bad day
