Dez Calls out Skip Bayless via Twitter

Naw that's easy. If you can do mine it would be a bet. ill give you a choice of : highland park, university hills, Preston hollow, las colinas by the Byron Nelson. There's plenty of places I can spend all day in a hoodie and nobody will mess with you, that's not the point. I can roll up to south Dallas and chill all day in one. Anyone can find towns where you can hang out like that- that's the easy part. The hard part that's bet worthy are certain neighborhoods. They would have you sitting on the curb with your hands on your back, or face down on the street within minutes. You roll in these neighborhood w a junky ride and they'll be on you so quick. Super dark tint, and you'll be see those red and blue LEDs. Got your music too loud, and they'll roll up next you, " excuse me sir you need to turn that down". Got the wrong non HOA approved decorations, and you're getting a fine from the neighborhood. In fact there where some high profile athletes run off recently.

I don't agree with it, that's the way it rolls

Ps. This is the last I'm gonna comment on this issue. I don't know where some of you guys are from, but where I live this is my reality. You will get profiled based on your appearance, car you drive ect. I don't not support profiling, but it is a reality where I live. If you guys live in areas where you can walk around, shop, drive wearing what Dez wore without being stopped than more power to you! That's cool. But not here

I've lived in university hills it's not a wardrobe thing. It's different kind of thing.

You could talk about him working on the sidelines with Brice Butler.

You consider all that chirping Dez was doing at Butler on the sidelines last Sunday as working with him? Whatever Dez was saying to him he didn't want to hear it. He was sitting there looking straight ahead with an angry look on his face ignoring Dez trying to tune him out. It reminded me of when TO was chirping at McNabb on the sidelines and McNabb kept trying to ignore him. We saw Dez chirping at Hardy last season when Hardy came off the field and Dez pissed him off. We saw Dez and Witten in a shouting match 3 years ago on the sidelines and that probably got started with Witten saying something to Dez and he blew up. Dez needs to stop chirping and start producing.

Curious why many of the players don't go after SAS? He hates the Cowboys and lets everyone know it.
I don't think they want that sort of attention.

Our players need to mature..

we are talking too much right now in the media and it's going to contribute to a loss shortly if guys like Witten and Romo and Garrett don't reel it in.

Next the reporters are going to be asking us about Kapernick's protests and somebody is going to light a fuse.

The Bennett's right now are starting things up about Witten. This is calculated to distract this team and take us off message.

Hope we learn in time.

Maybe not.

Butlers body language read disappointment in himself. He seemed to be listening to Dez. But I wasn't privy to their conversation.

Lol pretty much.

But anyway, since I have a family, career, school etc I think I'll pass on taking the time to visit your neighborhood for a social experiment.

How about since you live there, and own the same "type of clothes" you do it. Record yourself walking in those clothes and then getting laid down on the curb with your hands behind your back. Won't even require you to put up 15k or anyone to ask idgit about the peeps you roll with.

He was either disappointed in himself or didn't want to hear what Dez had to say. Probably a combination of both. It was obvious by Hardy's reaction last season to Dez's chirping that he didn't want to hear what he had to say. I've heard some soundbites of Dez chirping on the sidelines and it can be annoying especially to a player who's not in the best of moods.

What would be the point of that? The point is to prove that it exists. I already know this is a fact, why would I subject to myself to that. How bout you do it for fun and jollies, so we both can get a laugh :laugh::lmao2:

Would you like a teammate chirping in your ear when you're frustrated after a bad play or would you rather be left alone?

Right. But you said the hilarious tennis balls line after I said the dez Bryant issues expand past this singular thread topic. Like skipping meetings which we both already agreed isn't ideal.

why pretend that you don't understand anything just to argue. You rascal <(ツ)>

That's not what I was doing. I'm not sure I understand the point you're driving at.

I think everybody knows Dez didn't handle his reaction to the injury well. And I think we all know why. And I think we all know that wasn't really anything detrimental to him as a player or to the team overall. But this wasn't a thread about that. This thread was about Dez thanking Fish for disputing Bayless who made a career around lying about Cowboys players and from trying to gin up controversy around the Cowboys to the detriment of the team. And the fans that fall for it over and over again.

If I didn't conflate the one topic with the other, it's not because I was pretending to not understand anything. It's because the issues actually are different.

Glad you liked the tennis ball line, though. It's pretty appropriate, right? You can see the furry heads snapping around and hear the barking every time ESPN, and now, FOX, fakes a throw and it gets picked up by the message board.

Not sure what 'chirping' you're talking about. But I was referring to the camera shot of Dez showing Butler how to secure the ball and turn the body to come down the the TD catch that got broken up. And, yes, I consider that working with him.

And I'd be careful inferring what you think might be going on with Dez one the sidelines, anyway. People have already been badly embarrassed for doing just that only to have the audio come out to show, once again, that Dez is a pretty good teammate.

EDIT: here's the video, btw: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-...Bryant-yells-at-Brice-Butler-after-dropped-TD

If I am a professional, it doesn't matter. And if I'm a professional I'm going to want passion not passivity.

It happens. I'm not the one that does the policing or the judging, like I said I wear the same clothing at the gym, but if you wear those things in certain locations/ communities around Dallas, you will get approached. I believe Dez already was asked to leave North Park for saggy jeans. That's right he was. If you walk down Preston hollow, highland park, university hills, and about 10 other communities/ suburbs in Dallas, you will be questioned or looked at. Like I said, I dress the same way ( going to and from the gym), and it's an issue sometimes. This seems like a more appropriate topic for Punndits.

And I do not speak as if dressing like that is akin to showing up someplace w a trench coat and ski mask. I'm simply stating a fact: certain communities will find his clothing and dress objectionable. Period. Did I not say I wear the same things cause I do, do I get looked at?- yes. Is this right- not necessarily. Do I agree- not necessarily, but it does happen.

He's right, you know.

I know the shot you're referring to but I was talking about the camera shot of Butler sitting on the bench with Dez sitting next to him, chirping at him. Butler had an annoyed "get the hell away from me" look as he appeared to be tuning Dez out. It might not have been what it appeared but Butler looked as if he would have rather been left alone. Reminded me of the TO/McNabb sideline shot several years ago with TO chirping at McNabb and he kept ignoring him.

Do you remember the sideline shot last season of Dez chirping at Hardy? Did Hardy not look angry at him? lol That turned into a mini shouting match as Hardy was trying to walk away from Dez and he kept following Hardy chirping at him. I understand Dez is trying to be helpful but sometimes it's better to leave a teammate alone when they're frustrated. Dez can get pretty animated and not all players are going to be receptive to his chatter.
