There's a thread on the 1st page of the Fan Zone regarding reports about Dez working with trainers and potentially practicing this week (maybe even playing on Sunday?).

That thread was started 2 hours before this one. This one is 7 pages and going strong. The other one is less than half that.

Funny which items people decide to classify as news, and decide to talk about. Sometimes this feels more like the Gossip Zone.

Criticizing is a lot more fun than appreciating, I guess. :)

You have no posts in that thread. You have 5 here and 3 in the "Bennett hates witten" from the drama zone. You loooooove it

If you don't believe anything Dez Bryant is doing is good for his team, it looks to me like the issue is yours and not Dez'. You're putting emphasis on irrelevant tweets and maybe not paying enough attention to his performance and ability and to what his coaches and teammates actually have to say about him.

What'd they say about him skipping meetings?

Not a word, in the comments I read. But then, the meetings were for a game where he was inactive, and physically unable to play. Perhaps they didn't think it was all that necessary, given what he had going on.

You should maybe tweet Dez and ask him.

I kinda wish they would keep their distance from any media guys except when mandated by the CBA. Marshawn Lynch's approach towards the media wasn't necessarily a bad thing in this aspect in my opinion.

Why? I like when these coward mediots get called out!!!

I would advise you to not bring up family in a discussion. Because it's the kind of thing that can go left real quick.

Entitled to what, might I ask?

I didn't cut you up, but I'm not surprised your understanding of my comments are off. Do yourself and me a favor and don't respond.

WG you are a rockstar, I see DB every time I see his posts. And you know what DB I'm talking about.

I have talked to him on Twitter before! It was neat. However I would still prefer he show up to mandatory team Activities. Landry 2.0 loses credibility when players can just do whatever they want. I for one respect garrett and what he's building here

Also Do you often throw words into a random generator until the conversation or debate becomes immature and useless to someone with hobbies and/or an attention span?

Dez deserves the crap he is getting just like Bayless does as well. In a vacuum it seems moronic to have an issue with Dez on this but the track record of seeming to be unfocused deserves this scrutiny. We can grade him on a curve or we can compare him against some others on the team who don't focus on what the media says, what their rating is on madden, the Temptation to miss meetings and medical treatment around the facility or what scrutiny obj is under in NY. When will it be about football?

He is a great athlete and mediocre or good WR. The narrative of him loving the game may or may not be true. He may love the spotlight the game provides more than the craft of finding his best. He is good enough but still wasted talent and the shame in that for me is why I am harsh on him. Love my team and embrace him on Sundays but he is more focused on being the "beast" than finding the next win.

I'd prefer it too. Not doing it ought to have a good reason and come with appropriate consequences. After that, it's ok to move on since we know the guy's a quality team player and an extremely hard worker.

I don't. Words have meaning if I'm going to bother posting them, I try to make sure they're the right ones.

Not really. You could talk about his diligence in trying to get back on the field with the bruised bone. You could talk about him working on the sidelines with Brice Butler. You could talk about his relationship with Dak and him saying "Dak for President" on the sidelines. You could talk about Williams' comments about how much respect he has from Dez from yesterday's interviews. You can talk about how Dak told him after his first TD pass that there's nobody he'd rather have thrown it to.

But you don't. You *do* however, complain about him thanking Fisher for suggesting he's not a bad teammate. Think about it.

Post of the year right here...

I just asked bc the thread started by me saying

Dez needs to get his name on the stat sheets soon getting tired of him

Then you said all sorts of ad hominem goal post moving topic obfuscating things. Like I should Go tweet dez, I'm like your dog with a ball, I'm
Very unhappy with anything dez does and his behavior ACTUALLY reflects poorly on me :0

Words have meaning but intent has more meaning.

Just want to know if I'm wasting my time next time.

Ah. If you consider me thinking those things about your reactions here in this thread to be a waste of your time, then, yes. I'd likely do the same thing the next time you go chasing imaginary tennis balls.

Right. But you said the hilarious tennis balls line after I said the dez Bryant issues expand past this singular thread topic. Like skipping meetings which we both already agreed isn't ideal.

why pretend that you don't understand anything just to argue. You rascal <(ツ)>

I'll walk around any town near me you chose with a sleeveless hoodie for one full recorded hour. $500 bet. ill Verify it was the first take by holding up a newspaper
Naw that's easy. If you can do mine it would be a bet. ill give you a choice of : highland park, university hills, Preston hollow, las colinas by the Byron Nelson. There's plenty of places I can spend all day in a hoodie and nobody will mess with you, that's not the point. I can roll up to south Dallas and chill all day in one. Anyone can find towns where you can hang out like that- that's the easy part. The hard part that's bet worthy are certain neighborhoods. They would have you sitting on the curb with your hands on your back, or face down on the street within minutes. You roll in these neighborhood w a junky ride and they'll be on you so quick. Super dark tint, and you'll be see those red and blue LEDs. Got your music too loud, and they'll roll up next you, " excuse me sir you need to turn that down". Got the wrong non HOA approved decorations, and you're getting a fine from the neighborhood. In fact there where some high profile athletes run off recently.

I don't agree with it, that's the way it rolls

Ps. This is the last I'm gonna comment on this issue. I don't know where some of you guys are from, but where I live this is my reality. You will get profiled based on your appearance, car you drive ect. I don't not support profiling, but it is a reality where I live. If you guys live in areas where you can walk around, shop, drive wearing what Dez wore without being stopped than more power to you! That's cool. But not here
