Lets not forget what Dez can do

Back to the snake thread for you, Gimme. You're too endearing to trigger my rage. But that snake thread, those moccasins, you get to spend 15 minutes in there thinking about how you sullied our warrior Dez.
No, it is more as how Dez has led us, by the nose, to believe he is elite.
In Missouri they have a phrase:

"Show me."

He downed 15 pints at the Rose and Crown thinking about it, how do you think he came up with it, BEER talk.

No, at this stage Dez is primed to be an average WR.
Blame it on double coversge. Or bad hands. Or a elevated view of his talents. Or his frequent injuries. Or sideline diva moments.
He has fallen behind Bease. Even TWill and Butler.
He needs a dose of humility. A big one.
He needs to arrive at meetings on time, if at all.
No, elite status has passed him by. Stardom is fleeting, and all we have gotten from him is the word potential.
A word that diminishes Everytime journeymen such as Bease and TWill and Butler catch those sure midrange passes.
Dez, your time has passed.
And I will not duck.
Bring it on, Dez apologists.

No one has ever referenced Dez as purely potential. His production is insane. There's no red zone comparison outside of Gronk.

I hate you.

Most here would say he isn't elite. It seems, Gimme, that those that think that he's still elite, are in the minority, now.

Which destroys your narrative on that premise.

So now we must see whether he is simply good or not. Amirite?

(Edit -- I'm one of the rational ones that knows he's elite, but I'm gonna go easy on ya, my boy)

Whether its Romo coming back or Dak getting more comfortable with him. I cannot wait to see this again.

Posted this same video about two weeks ago when some genius on this forum said Dez wasn't an explosive player...yeah...I know...smh.

The crazy thing is that the offense is looking sharp without him in it. Once Dez and Dak develop some chemistry, it'll be a very difficult team to stop. It'll take a while for that to happen just like it took a while for Dez to really get in the flow of the offense when he first came onto the team.

By saying lets not forget what he can do, do you mean trash a politician's house and refuse to pay to repair the damage he and his gold digger (so-called) friends did?

Dez is overrated and anyone can come up with a highlight reel. He is good, but not great and is injury prone. He better play his heart out the rest of the year or I would trade his arse.

So serious...

Folks he means bidness!

KJJ, this isn't a Dez injury discussion. This discussion is about his return.

How do you think he will do? Stay with me...

It's a discussion about Dez and if some of you want to live in the past with him be my guest. I'm living in the now and right now he's off to another rough season coming off another injury. As for how I think he will do, it's hard to say with Dak not being the risk taker Romo is. Dak is going to throw to the open receiver and isn't going to force throws to Dez or anyone else which is why he only has one INT all season. He's got some real good chemistry going with Beasley and with Dez out the past 3 games we'll just have to see how much Dak targets him. He doesn't need Dez to be an efficient QB.

Jerry's comment after the opener that he wants the ball thrown to Dez even if he's not open is not going to benefit Dak. That's how Romo got in trouble with TO by forcing balls to him. Dak is going through his progressions and spreading the ball around and I hope he continues to do that. What we're doing offensively is winning games.

No. Right now he is about to make his start this Sunday.

Until he makes his start on Sunday giving us something hopefully good to talk about, this is all we got until then.
