Lacy is hurt and I think Ajaiyi had a 90 yard run earlier this year. Much fewer touches and goal line as well. I think ypc has to take some of that into account but Zeke is one of the smoothest runners I've seen in awhile

Ajayi had a 62-yarder (Zeke has had a 60-yarder). Ajayi's averaged 5.4 yards on 133 career carries.

How would you rank the top 5?
I dont watch any football outside Cowboys games, so I have no opinion :lmao:

obviously those backs have all got something special going on but Zeke's strengths lie in his vision and versatility, he does it all and threatens all areas. Other than McCoy I haven't seen enough of those other RBs to make a fair comparison,,, and even then there will always be tradeoffs. Shady has kicked arse for many years now and any team would be lucky to have him, though he won't get you the dirty yards that Zeke will.

I must be thinking of someone else then. I could have sworn his long was much larger than Zekes 60 on far fewer carries.

If we're talking "this year" only and RB I'd like running for my team is have to say

Zeke
Johnson
Ware
McCoy
Howard

Purely on who think I can trust more game in and game out this year and what their styles bring to table. Regardless of YPC. Ware and McCoy have been banged up this year though but I like watching them

Stats are wonderful for days when the team doesn't play.

But look at the guy. Understand they gave him two touches in the second quarter of the eagles game.

This is the best running back in the league. And whilst we argue about Romo and Dak, this guy and this line are what make this team gin.

Feed him, Garrett and stop screwing around with this Morris gets the third series crap.

Browns running back Isaiah Crowell has the NFL's longest run so far......85 yards.

so you would take Zeke over Shady.
i actually have not seen any of the top backs other than Lacy when he played us.

how has he done lately? is he a small quick guy?

He's a decent size (5'11", 225 lbs.), and he is pretty quick. As far as his production, he's currently 12th in the league in rushing with 524 yards. He hasn't done much of anything since the first Sunday in October.

Are defenses keying on him like 8 in a box?

I love zeke but there are other guys running extremely well too. Numbers don't tell the whole story, but they do tell a story and while he's amongst the best and arguably already the best, it's ok to acknowledge the other guys.

Shady is incredible

Well most of us know stats are not perfect.
Can you rank them?
I cannot because I do not watch any other team...
