Travesty of Officiating

The Martin holding call was ludicrous. I even thought one of the Leary holds was iffy, at best. But then they miss the Dunbar molestation. I think Dunbar is going to need psychological therapy after that.

Funny how Troy wanted all of the calls against Dallas, but against Pittsburgh? Mums the word.

I made this point like a dozen times on this forum but Troy totally let the cowboys haters in his head and he just can't help himself from being weird about judgement calls. It doesn't make me MAD. I just notice it.

Buck doesn't hate us I don't see that at all. He just gets excited along with the home crowd for big calls he gets animated for us all the time

Listen, I know the guy tries to hide his homer'ism, but it's a bit overboard. He is extremely annoying at times to listen to when he's doing Cowboys games. He literally gives zero credit!

Always points out the negative and ignores the positives. Never sees the call when it favors the Cowboys and always sees it when it favors the opponent. Irvin is my favorite Cowboys player doing anything with media.
I disagree I think at times he's talking as if the entire audience is a cowboys fan. Things like "oh that's unfortunate that X happened there" but yea when it comes to flags and big calls he just leaves his brain at the door

I am really getting tired of Troy. You're right, we get absolutely zero credit. And the sad part is not only did he play here, but Jason Garrett was his backup for years. You would think he hates this team.

I'll agree wholeheartedly with anyone that says that refereeing is crap.

But I don't want to hear about any conspiracy theories about the league/refs being biased against Dallas. You can't claim that and then sit there and watch them flag Pittsburgh on the final drive for a facemask. If they were out to get us, they wouldn't have called it point-blank.

They only called it because the entire Cowboys bench saw it. No call on the earlier play where they twisted Beasley around.

Oh really?

That's weird, because the one on Beasley just a few plays earlier was near the Cowboys sideline and in clear view (not a mass of bodies like the one called a few plays later).

The fix was in. Only way to explain it. Total screw job. From the 35 yards of holding of Dunbar on the punt return to Beasley having his face ripped off with no call to the several pancake blocks that were called against us. Refs on the take. Period.
& That first Stealer TD catch was not a catch. That 5 second replay review was some of the tastiest home cooking I have ever seen.

They only called it because they missed the WORSE one on Bease

Enough already. Ive been a football coach for 29 years and the one thing that aggravates me the most is people crying about the officials, especially at the upper levels. I can see incompetent or fixed refs in middle school or even high school but at this level? Enough. Enjoy the win and move on, talk about all the positives tonight. Sorry, just my opinion.

Everyone recall this is the same ref that called 0 penalties against Pitt vs Dallas in 2012? And today 10-4? At one point it was 10-2. Seriously how the heck is that even possible?

Thought I was in WW2-era Germany for a second, lol.

The officiating was poor but just to be fair............. on Elliott's long TD catch, we had an illegal man downfield and it was pretty obvious. Leary (I think it was him) was 5 yards down field before Elliott even caught the ball. So we got some gifts too.

Nope.

LoS was the 17-yard line. When Dak threw the ball, Leary was just inside the 19-yard line. Fred and Martin were behind the LoS when Dak threw the ball.

You can also see incompetent refs at the pro level, weekly. Wether its fixed or not I dont really get into, but bad calls and a blatantly missed calls happen regularly. The refs arent up to par with the game.
