I don't get what's happened to Dez the last two seasons. I really don't. I like the guy and think he's a great teammate, but his play has been unacceptable in relation to his talent for some time now.

IMO
He should of been out for the year last year. He came back to a dysfunctional offense with a bum foot. Sure, he was out there on the field, but honestly he had no business being out there, but the NFCE was bad for most of the year allowing us a small window to get in.

This year he has had some good, average and bad games with a new QB. The blame falls on him sometimes letting an opponent get into his head.
However, 38 catches, 644 yards and 6 TDs are not great numbers for a guy who is a #1 in 10 games.
I agree he needs to up his game(mentally).

I was hoping that he would be one a Hall of Fame receiver type, but given his age, I don't think that's possible anymore.

Currently he's #159 on the all time reviving yds list. With three or four more 1000 yds+ seasons ( he will be 31-32) he should be between Keyshawn Johnson and Santana moss.

FYI TO is second all time. He was a bad boy

When has he done this? I must have missed hearing Dez whine about not getting the ball?

Well then you apparently are not watching the games, nor are you listening to Jason defend his "passion for the game" in his press conferences.

You automatically lose all credibility if you think Dez was at fault for the INT on the deep ball..

Dak threw it right into the deep cover safety, in the middle of the field, overthrew Dez and Jenkins by at least three yards, with Jenkins having inside leverage on Dez running at full speed..

And Dak ignored the underneath route that was wide open, after moving through his profrsssions from left to right..

I don't think he sucks I just don't think he's clutch. He always seems to disappear or screw up in big games.

literally mid boggling how this thread can be made after some of the games in his recent stretch

7/102
4/113/1 TD
6/116/1 Td
6/80/2 TD
4/84/1 TD
5/72

this doest point to sucking to me, sounds like a bunch of petty posters trying to push an agenda. its really embarassing. having a few bad games does not equal falling off

http://www.nfl.com/player/juliojones/2495454/gamelogs

Juilo has games with 3, 2, and 1 receptions...did he fall off too?...smh idiots man

On cue because he's right.

Dez is responsible for three turnovers.

You guys are ridiculous…

How is he responsible for the first interception? He slept… Receivers slip every day. Not saying it completely exonerated him, but it's a fact.

Turnover number two is all on Prescott. There's a safety in the middle of the field, yet he still throws to the post. Dez saw this and kept his route "flat" - away from the safety. Dak should have seen the safety and throw the ball more towards the corner, or better yet, gone to another receiver – one that wasn't double covered.

The only one that falls completely on Bryant's shoulders is the fumble in the final two minutes.

This is garbage trying to give Dez a pass for slipping. You're a multimillion dollar athlete! Play better! Control your damn feet!

That's like trying to give Doug Free a pass for the times he gets beat in pass protection. I mean, it's not his fault a pass rusher is coming.

You know who else had a terrible game last night......OBJ before the slant......he dropped a TD, a couple big first downs and was generally terrible......I hope NY cuts him

Unlike Dez, OBJ comes thru for his team AT LEAST once a game. He's won several games this year on long RAC for TD's. I wish we had a speed guy like him. He's a difference maker every week. Can the same be said of Dez?.....

I'd venture Dez was in the huddle continuously saying he's open, throw it up I'll go get it...........both him and Dak tried to make something happen

Dak trusted Dez would at minimum go up, turn D-back and make sure it wasnt picked off........its every receivers responsibility, especailly one that lives on winning jump balls

Dez does not suck. His problem is being inconsistent. Last night was another example of that.

I believe that was his first TD against us in the last 4 games.

I've never heard Dez say he's not getting the ball enough or that he needs more targets. It seems you have conviently ignored any audio from the sidelines. So there's that

So you need to hear it from Dez's mouth to confirm it's true? Look at the numbers since he's come back. We force him the ball.

My only thought on Dez is this
If you are going to hold off on contract talks .. and whine and cry about getting the big $$$ .. good for you .. but you better back it up and do your part of the bargain ... so far since the new contract all I see is flashes of what that money should get us .. but noti=hing more .. nothing consistent ... nothing solid

nice dude .. cool and all that .. but not a pro
