32. Dallas Cowboys

Charles Harris, DE, Missouri: The Cowboys' success this season is all the more surprising given their lack of a consistent pass rush. After investing in troubled edge rushers in recent years, Dallas might be intrigued by the motor, versatility and work ethic of the 6-3, 255 pound Harris.

This draft board has been picked over. A lot of DE's gone, WR's gone, "TE's" gone (thank goodness). Even OG Feeney gone who is my fall back in case we lose Leary.

I'm hoping short, stumpy, slow Solomon Thomas goes before us and pushes someone else down the board.

CB's Jackson and Tankersly may be considered there but Harris is good value and is exactly what we need.

WKU's LT Forrest Lamp has been called a poor man's Zak Martin and may rise a lot in this draft.

Harris or Jackson would be my pick in this scenario. Harris gives that legit RDE prospect we definitely need, where as Jackson helps us in many different capabilities next year.

Im becoming a huge Jackson fan, but I think I take Harris here. The RDE position is the engine that drives a defence

Interesting it says he has a motor. A Mizzou fan on the Walter Football page says he will blow up one drive, then vanish for the rest of the game.

He looks awkward the way his body moves. I wouldn't think that wouldn't bode well at the NFL level where natural movement is faster and smoother. Also, only being 6'3 and 255lbs is a big negative too.

I would be rather nervous about drafting this kid.

I see the same thing regarding his motor. We are all wannabe-GMs in our own minds and hustle/motor is a huge player trait for me in a prospect. For other draftniks it's not as big of a deal.

If he does indeed have motor issues I don't want him. We are starting to build a unit that flies around the field and attacks the ball. I don't want any of that lazy culture out there.

All RDE candidates are in the 6-3/255 range.

He has film on YouTube. Watch it for yourself.

For this defense it's a requirement.

Agreed, very underrated trait particularly on the dline.

Every mock I've seen has him going somewhere in the middle of the first round.

they were very interested in leonard floyd last year so no reason to think Harris wont be in the mix.

I like Harris. He has a very good burst. He is not refined as a football players from what I've seen, but he has the physical talent required.

I also think he has a real nasty streak in him. We could use some of that.

What I would love even more is for Dallas to trade their 1st Rd pick (hopefully 31 or 32) and Tony Romo to the Broncos for their 1st (around 20) and pick up Derek Barnett. In trade value, that's like giving up a late 3rd for Romo. It surprises me to see Barnett slip out of the top 15, but I'd love to have him. He would have instant impact on our DL.
