The other bad thing is we were relatively healthy, missing Tyron dez and mo for a few games but no catastrophic injury to Zeke or the other oline. That's bound to change next year

I don't want to defend our defense right now but I'll just say that it's been pretty good at hitting the QB for the last month.

Our gameplan today wasn't to hit Rodgers.

Turn on the Steelers game btw. Bud Dupree says hello.

Well to be fair the PI easily evened out when they missed an obvious one on Witten that cost us a TD.
Agreed, which is why I think the call / non-calls were pretty much a wash in this game. Though inevitably someone will complain about the officiating as per usual

Did our leading rusher from last year even get a carry? We just got so pass happy it was crazy.
He's just a window dress. That's why the Packers paid no attention to him and why it would have been a perfect time to give him the ball.

Exactly. Another golden opportunity wasted, just like all of Romo's career.

We always think we're on the brink of a run, but the reality is that the NFL window slams closed really quick.

A few key injuries next year and you never know what happens. Then everyone is a year older, etc. One thing is for certain is Rodgers has our number. We couldn't beat him in 2014 when he had one good leg, and we couldn't beat him this year when he didn't have his top two receivers, his top RB, and half of their starting DB's.

We had every advantage you could ask for and still couldn't win. That's nothing to be proud of.

Next season I would like to see Zeke in the 2nd quarter and not taking out when he is on a roll.

Getting too pass happy is another thing that needs to go.

Stay with what is working, if we can run 3 times and pick up a first then you keep running it until they stop you.

Also don't rest guys in week 17 when you have a first round bye

That's why I wanted Green Bay over the Giants because I knew their defense couldn't stop the cowboys offense, little did I know their own coaches would

Hate to say it but this was it. We wasted our chance . We'll look back on this year for years and say why or what if.

KC looks just as flat and scared as we did in the first half, but they don't have our O. Pitt is going to crush them. Smith sucks...why Reed thinks he can win with Alex FRIGGIN' Smith is beyond me. Tony should think about going to KC.

I've never been this down after a loss in my life
Strangely, I'm over it. I don't know what it is. I just don't get as upset with losses anymore. I'm disappointed, but it doesn't linger.
I guess I didn't really think we'd get to the Super Bowl with this defense. I hoped we would, but I still felt the defense was a liability.
You know when you have a great defense. You know when you have a great team. The Ravens defense that won their first and second Super Bowls were great. The Buccaneers defense that won the defense was great. The Broncos defense of last year was great. I never felt this defense was great. We overachieved, and then we ran into a very hot quarterback.
In the playoffs, never underestimate an elite defense and an elite quarterback. That's why the Packers and the Patriots are still playing, and we aren't.

The Cowboys are the biggest ratings draw in the league. The NFL would love nothing more than a Patriots Cowboys SuperBowl
Cowboys are a young team. They can leave them brewing for the years to come. But Brady and Rodgers are not getting any younger. So that match up needs to happen sooner then later. It will be like Pacquiao vs Mayweather.

Anyone else show no emotion after the FG? After 20 years of playoff failures I just sat here emotionless and numb. :star:
