(besides chuck up horrid performances in playoffs games)

I clap. The fans don't understand the owners and the players. They don't have clapping skills.

I take the claps from the owner and show them to the fans. And I take the claps from the fans and show them to the players.

I give him a lot of credit for Zeke and Dak. I think he had a lot of input on us getting both.
coty- no. The team came out to sloppy in playoffs. I would give it to Belichick or Quinn.

Outcoached in our most important game and refused to take any blame for it.

Doesnt know how a clock operates.

This award is a sham.

Agree!

I wrote earlier this season, despite years of issues, that he turned a corner. That playoff game ruined that! He's not a coach of the year

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett was named the AP coach of the year after directing the Cowboys to a 13-3 record following a 4-12 record in 2015. He did it with a rookie QB in Dak Prescott and rookie running back in Ezekiel Elliott as well as dealing with a number of injuries to other key players.

You win 13 games with a rookie backfield, you deserve the honor even if you weren't able to capitalize on the success in the playoffs.

The "coach of the year" failed to prepare his team for the postseason and was the #1 reason why they lost their first playoff game.

No way in hell.

This is what bugs me. Jerrys quote on award tonight "he's not the same coach he was 2 years ago or even 5 years ago." So you admit we worked short handed at coach for years Jerry?

Congrats.........haters having a field day I seee. You don't have to like the guy but have to appreciate what he did when Romo went down.

Well deserved. Getting COTY while still in training is quite a feat. I see big things next year.

The future is bright for this team. There is this renewed energy and confidence we havent seen for a long time. The awards show confirmed this and really feel this team is close to getting back to the Super Bowl.... Can't wait for next season!

Well deserved...congrats Coach Garrett. Trust the process and turn the page on 2016. Get ready for Indy and the draft process! How many back to back COTY winners have their been?

It's a regular season award. I think if they voted after the playoffs, it'd be a different story.

Garrett needs to start doing something in the playoffs, assuming we don't go 8 - 8 next year.

Where was this coaching staff last year when we had Cassel and Weeden, or dare we say yea Dak is already far superior to those guys.
